Sanding block in two pieces, fixed together (and with a sanding paper) using two printed screws. Some cut-outs in the design to save on filament. I don't like supports, so I made it to not need supports to print. The paper I had at hand was 140mm width. The width of the sanding block is 60mm. The idea is to cut the paper in half, which leaves you 5mm extra paper on each side of the block.

Sanding block that works with 60x10mm double sided tape like the stuff that comes with 60x10mm bar magnets from Amazon. Never used the tape for the magnets but made this so I could use it with wet sandpaper. Print in any material at any layer height. Small sanding blocks good for post printing wet sanding. We like to use and created them to wet-sand earrings. Round one has 10mm radius. Flat one is 10mm wide with 5 degrees negative sidewalls for easier sanding in the corners. Effective lenght is 45mm. Total lenght 105mm. I remixed the excellent sanding sticks https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2259838 by workshopbob to make them compatible with 9 inch sandpaper and M5 panhead screws. This sanding block is for 40 x 303 or 40 x 305 Sanding Belts, so be sure to get the correct Sanding Belts. Although the Clamping mechanism is a bit more annoying than other sanding blocks, it guarantees a super duper atomic bomb resistant tight fit of the sanding belt. Another Remix, just because one of the standard sizes in germany for sandpaper (230mm x 96mm) lets me cut 2 sandpaperstrips out of it, but lets me with one strip of 230mm x ~16mm left. And so i decided to make a shortcut version of this thats 17mm (0.67 inch) wide, and also to edit this version to only use one M3 screw. This is a remix of the Parametric sanding block and wedge by Rmnvgr. It uses one wedge to hold both ends of the sanding strip. Makes for a tighter grip on the sanding paper. This sander works well for sanding plastic it doesn't make it too hot like a Dremel. it sands at the right speed to have great control. I haven't tested with other grits of sandpaper yet. I have also sanded wood filler with it. It worked so well for me I am posting it now, but I plan to add more as I use it more. The Electric Toothbrush is from Family Dollar $4. but many may work it has a 13mm round head I did not use the square brush yet. you would even be able to submerge the head under water...

As i dont have a resin printer like the original creator, i stumbled about two things i didnt liked for fdm, and redid them: For that I loaded the design into Fusion, and redid all edges as 45 degree chamfers, as thats way easier to print with fdm. To also get away without supports, i removed the stuff on the inside. I only edited and uploaded the main body, as the rest is indeed printable on an fdm machine, and so can be taken from the original post.-

The shaft hole is approx .315" in diameter and the drum OD is 2". I made this so a SBC pushrod can be hammered/pressed into the part, then a piece of cut sandpaper is to be wrapped around the drum. A slot was put in if you wanted to make the drum eccentric for larger diameter holes.

I know there is already a million sanding blocks out there. Now there is a million and one! This sanding block is made for half sheets of the 3-2/3 x 9 inch sheets sold here in the states at least. I liked the style of the Remixed Sanding tool but there are some little things that I wanted to change. 1. the main problem I had with it was the lack of a nut on the inside of the main body, the normal pla body isn't good for treads most of the time it strips really quick so I added some slots for M4 nuts. 2. holes for M4 Screws, i diddnt had any M3 screws this long like it was intended (and i diddnt found any in my local hardware store) so i made the holes bigger and compatible for M4 Screws....

This is a knifemaker's sanding block. The original design is by Aaron Gough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtAZRdxUrh4 I designed my own for 3d printing. You need to print 1 of the blocks and two of the rods. The sandpaper should be cut to 2"x7". Thanks to Aaron Gough for the idea!
