The regular Blue Snowball shock mount was huge, which made it awkward to use if you need to see past it, so I designed this tiny one that uses rubber bands for dampening. Tested on the LG 34um58/68, but I think it would fit on the other 34" LG Ultrawides as well. A screw into one of the lower VESA mount holes does the job, and doesn't block the monitor control knob.

I tried printing a bunch of snowball maker ideas and finally decided to just make my own. The issues I had with others were they either would break easily, required too much support to print, required gluing/assembly, were hard to use/line up, or they were not the right size (too small or too big). This is a remix of a couple of shockmounts I found here on Thingiverse. My improvement, is that the shockmount can be used on the original Blue Snowball microphone stand. One M3 screw is needed for mounting the outer ring to the threaded part. And of course, some rubber bands or hair ties to mount the microphone. This is a remix of ad895s design. This is what you need to mount your Snowball to the Ikea Tertial lamp. ad895 had made the design for the original nice all metal Snowball stand. I wasn't as lucky when I bought mine, and got the other cheap, partly plastic, stand. The mount needed some changes as the stands have different diameters. The downscaled version is for printing. The upscaled version is if you want to import and remix in Sketchup. Tiny details doesn't work so good in Sketchup

This snowball maker is made so you can use it with a gloved hand. It is large as is for a teen or adult, use 80% for children. Just fill the maker and twist the two caps until they meet each other then separate them to reveal the snowball. After printing there might be some light sanding on the connection point for a desired fit.

This is a replacement part for the Blue Snowball mic stand. The legs have a lot of pressure on the factory plastic part and is prone to breaking. Simply print with about 35 - 40% infill, no supports are needed. Fusion 360 archive file is attached to allow you to edit as needed.

Borrowing the idea from Dampmaskin, I stuck a 15.5mm peg to a 75mm VESA mount adapter. You'll need some nuts and bolts if your VESA mount isn't threaed(which... it shouldn't be) The metal threads of your microphone or mount should cut the threads on the peg no problem. I'm using this to mount a Blue Snowball ICE to a spare VESA monitor mount arm. You could also use a SM58 or other microphone on this bit.

You need 8 rubber bands to connect the inner and outer rings together. The stand and outer ring is designed with zero gap between them for a tighter fit. The inner ring has the exact diameter of the microphone itself and can be pressed around the ring that connects the front and back side of your microphone.

I separated the form from the handle in the stl, so you can print them separately. Now you can print them in different colours or turn the form if you want. Prints 2 of each stl files (form and handle) and glue the handle and form together.

This is a simple gadget to attach a Blue Snowball (or other) microphone to a standard "lamp arm" and it also includes a pop filter. The assembly for holding the legs of my microphone to the stand craked around the hole for the screw, probably due to overtightening. This lead to the lower part of the microphone stand becoming loose, and it would spin whenever I picked up the microphone. I created this replacement part from the original design, with some minor tweaks. A long lifetime for this piece is not guaranteed, but it surely is better than having a loose, broken stand. A low profile 20mm tall stable stand for the Blue Snowball mic as others I had seen and tried didn't provide the stability I'd like (I'm pretty clumsy). I have used rubber foam pads on the base to reduce noise, this worked very well. Made this quick little snowball grenade maker after the kids I were having lots of fun with the dodecahedron snowball maker. Wasn't able to find a grenade mold that fit my likings so I thought I'd whip one together. I printed this model standing upside down on its top.
