Frame support rods mount (front mount). I needed better upper mount because I use dual z axis with z fixes. I use this kit, but i think it will work with all kits from aliexpress :-) (they use almost same upper mount) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001282082750.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.3f8a3c00BmFu6F&mp=1 I made M5 thread to side hole of 2020 frame but it isn't necessary. For each mount 2x M5 30mm (front holes) preffered BHSC (or SHSC) 1x M5 20mm (side holes) preffered SHSC (or BHSC)

I have been using both the Z-Braces and Z-Extensions from AzzA for sometime. They did the job needed at hand. My only problem was that the threaded rod got in my way. So the solution was to find some Z-braces that would not attach to the front. I simply could not find a set that did not use the front for the threaded rods. Not only that I was using some dampeners made to fit AzzA Z-braces. So I made my own braces that would still allow me to use the dampeners. My solution was to just combine...

This is a much more minimalist take on the rear Z brace. This is an improvement on my previous design listed in the remix section. This brace takes less material, print time, and hardware. In return you get much more stiff and robust brace when compared to my first brace. With this being a minimalist take I have removed the non essentials including even brace feet. This does mean that you have to keep the printer on a level surface as you would without a brace. I have already checked and my...

Not quite a remix, but more of an addition to. I got tired of not seeing my build bed in the dark at night when checking on the prints before bed, so I did these up. I tried first with the snap-on types, but they just weren't to my liking, so I went with a full slide on version. You'll need to print 4 more balls of your choosing from Azza's Z-Brace Thingi to hold this to your braces in the position you choose. These are designed for 8mm self-adhesize strip LEDs such as:...

*update with a no drill option to this modification for Anet A8 printers: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3170756 Also check out the LED mounts you can print and put on your threaded rod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3179195 ______________________________________________________ The budget 3D printers are great; especially when upgraded with primarily 3D printed parts that brace and make the printer more stable. This is my take on a Z-brace for the Wanhao Duplicator i3 and probably it's clones (not the plus versions). I designed this to leave as much open workspace as possible while maintaining maximum stability. I call this "Z-brace 0.5" since it braces halfway up the Z-gantry. The mod comes with optional adjustable damper-feet. It's really rigid, easy to assemble and only requires two 250mm threaded rods and some M3-screws and nuts. All parts print without support if you have decent...

For 8mm x 10mm x 10" LED 3-part light strips from IKEA (LEDBERG). Found them on clearance sale for $12 at my local store. Clips to attach the 2 side strips to the common Z-Braces mod. I.e. to mount to the vertical threaded rods. I made them very tight for the strongest hold, so I opted to print them in ABS for a little more flexibility than PLA. Assuming PLA would be too rigid to pop around the threaded rod. I used the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:121247 to separate the 3 strips into...

EDIT 21/01/2020 Added v2 version: it's 10mm longer, so it should completely solve the height problem ------------------------------ EDIT 10/12/2019 Solved Z height that reduced with BMG extruder. I simply used a M3x20 screw. See the pics ------------------------------ You can print them without supports. Print them like in pic. I used 100% infill. Probably You can use lower infill. You can use original lid and screws. So print it is unnecessary. Z rods gap reduced With BMG extruder, Z height is...

This is a remix of the left side of Z braces for Ender 3 by ProperPrinting. I had some issues on the extruder side with the original ones since after a certain height the threaded bar was clashing with the filament, especially in my case since I am using a filament guide. For this reason I designed one with a certain offset and a different angle. Additionally I added a slot for a 608 bearing in which you can center the Z axis in order to keep it perfectly parallel to the rail. Hope you find it...

I created these braces to add to the structural stability of the AP8 printer design. These should also work on the AM8 without any issues. It supports the Z-axis in both directions. Update: Added new braces that *should* fit the extended 364mm base extrusions instead of the 340mm stock. Let me know if you test them!

Rear mounting Z Brace that fits the newest generation of Monoprice Maker Select Plus printers where the Z axis smooth rods are mounted to the top of the gantry. Rear mounting Z brace that wont get in the way and mount very securely. You will need: 2 pcs 444 mm (17.5") M8 (5/16") metal threaded rod 4 pcs M5 x 16 screws 10 pcs M3 x 12 screws 6 pcs M8 (5/16) hex nuts -- to hold the rods 2 pcs M8 (5/16) nylon hex nuts -- to be placed at the bottom (no slippage) You can use either size of...

I wanted a set of Z-braces mostly so that I could align the Z-tower accurately. Turns out this design also makes for a very rigid structure. These braces were designed to take up as little space as possible, so that they could fit inside my enclosure. I also wanted reverse rods so that I had clean access to the printer bed. These braces use M6 threaded rods, and I covered them with 10mm aluminium extrusions. An additional benefit is that these braces allow me to lock my enclosure to the...

**ENGLISH** I had been thinking about doing Z-axis reinforcements for my Creality CR-10S printer for a while, but I could not find anything that would work for my hotend group. The problem was of course the height that I could have missed because the changes made have greatly increased its size (MicroSwiss, BLTouch, fangs). So I designed the whole thing with Autodesk Fusion 360 in order to still have the maximum travel on the Z axis available on the machine and with the fewest possible number...

I really like the idea of adjustable frame leveling feet with vibration dampeners, but when I tried using TyphonPS's Z-Braces, my extruder kept hitting the braces on the higher Z-Levels. I thought about using Azza's Z-Braces by themselves, but ultimately I decided to go with AnyWorldGames' entire frame rebuild that remixes Azza's Z-Brace into the design as a part of the rebuild. However, there were no leveling feet for it. Thus, here it is. You'll need to use the support feet from TyphonPS's...
