I changed to upgraded springs on my A8+. These were only 20mm in length which was roughly 4-5mm shorter than the standard springs. I designed these with a 2mm base so once in place your spring is back to its original length. I use a washer top & bottom hence the 2mm base.

Designed to help keep the AIO GPU COOLER hoses from twisting. Has a middle notch specifically for neat fan wire routing. Should fit most if not all GPU AIO cooler hoses. Pick one or all of the sizes that works best for your particular hose routing. I found that while printing on my old Anet A8 a relative high speeds the printer was unaccurate on the x,y plane. I found a large gap between the Z leadscrew and the horizontal acrilic plate. I was not happy with the Anet A8 y belt tensioner that comes from the factory, so I designed a new one. The design parameters were: 1) It should be mounted on the front beam, using the existing holes 2) It should be adjusted from both sides rather than using an adjustable angle tensioner This is the result, and It really works. After designing, printing, and installing this on my A8, I gave the tops a twist and they are now completely locked in. No print volume is lost, but it will reduce ringing. It's an easy print, and even easier to install. You should give it a go if you are still rockin' your A8! Printing: Print one left and one right brace, using the orientation in the stl files. I found the Creality hotend design to be easier to maintain and work with over the E3D setup everyone was using on the A8 This plate will allow you to mount a Ender-3 style hotend to your Anet A8 with a few supporting mods to your bowden conversion. A direct drive carriage for the Anet A8 (or other 8mm rod 45mm space i3 style machines) mounting an E3D v6 or clone hotend and a block style (stock???) inductive sensor. Why this one? Bed level thumb wheel for the Anet A8 and A6 printer. The thumb wheel can be use with the original wing nut that comes with the printer. I find other thumb wheel designs that can be used with the wing nut, but they were too tight. The wing nut did not fit in to the thumb wheel. So I made my own one.

25/03/2018 UPDATE: Well, thats it, it's done, all the parts are designed, the drill holes templated, and it works, firmware change instructions are below... The only thing that may change is the addition of some frame bracing in the middle where i have cut out the centre, just need to do some cable tidying then it'll be time for a test print...
