Victoria BC the second highest restaurants per capita in North America. Second only to San Francisco. It seems that many of these restaurants specialize in tacos. This week I met up with a longtime friend, almost 20 years now, Cary, who was visiting from Toronto, at Fishhook Restaurant in Victoria BC. Fishhook is a fabulous, cozy restaurant serving local seafood in the heart of downtown Victoria BC on Fort Street. This week we have a real treat for you! Kid Sister Ice Cream, my favourite place for ice cream in all of Victoria, opened for 2018. So of course we had to go by and say hello :) While we were there we decided to treat ourselves to a flight of icecream. This is four scoops of ice cream with whip cream. This week I am going to take you to my favourite bookstore and my favourite cafe in Victoria BC. As a non-coffee drinker I am looking for fabulous coffee alternatives when I go to a cafe as well as a comfortable sit down experience.
