This 1/4" Hex bit holder is attached to the opposite side of the drill or impact driver than the belt clip. This device fits a Dewalt DCF887 impact driver and DCD996 hammer drill. I'm sure it would fit most Dewalt 20v MAX drills/impact drivers. I wanted the bits to be held magnetically since a friction fit will wear over time. This is a complete redesign of JordanGrant's hex bit holder concept. I like his design but it didn't quite fit what I needed. I have these two sets of 3 countersink bits and 3 self-centering drill bits that I wanted to store neatly in my dewalt bit holder case. This is a remix of Drill / Screw Bit Holder for Makita Power Tools by tek2222 It wasn't possible for me to fit in my hex bit, so I decided to make another one with a flexible shape (not flexible material). I had 2 lips on the top and the bottom in order to keep it from rotating. This one is for right side. So if you want one for the left side, just mirror it in your slicer program. Hello like minded out there. Here I share with you my design of a bit holder for any 18V Makita Drill. My design does have a notch so this "thing" sits properly and flush on the battery socket. I also created different sizes to store different amounts of bits. The "Extrem" version has a slot to slide in tree 12x18x2mm neodym magnets, to hold the screws or other stuff you may need.

I found myself needing metric bits for work on my 3D printer and it's not easy to come by metric drill bits in my area so I ended up ordering some off Amazon. They came in a plastic bag so thought I make a holder to keep them organized. I only added .05mm to the original print and I ended up having to drill out the holes with some standard bits to get workable tolerances. I found those bits to generally be anywhere from .10mm to .30mm larger than their metric equivalents so I re-sized the bit...

Bit holder for almost any Milwaukee M12 tool using a XC (Extra Capacity) battery. Solves the issues of bit holders breaking when dropping the tool, breaking when inserting bits ,bits falling out, bits hard to get out etc. Your bits will stay in and they are easily removable. For use with 3mm x 8mm rare earth magnets, actual dimensions are (2.67mm x 8mm). Magnets are not necessary to hold lower longer bits but would recommend for the top short bits. I wanted a screwdriver to keep in my camera bag with all of the relevant bits for my camera and equipment. I wanted it to be short enough to fit into a particular pocket on my bag, yet have storage for all of its accessories. The handle is long enough to store a bit extender as well as the bits I chose to use a PET soda bottle cap to contain it all because it's a proven design and if I lose it, a replacement is as close as the cooler in my car.

I modified the original file to accept a 1/4" bit holder better durability and better usability. The version i printed had too tight fit for the bit holder, so i had to heat up the bit holder quite a bit, so i increased the tolerances a little bit, so it should be easier to insert the bit holder now. If you still find the fit too tight you can heat up the bit holder for easier insertion.

At work I have to carry around a bunch of different hex bits all the time, so I designed a little holder for my pocket. It holds 4x 1/4" standard bits and one 5/16" bit (Torx50) and has a little hole for a leash. During the print you have to insert 3x 10x2 mm magnets. I use (lazy) the color change function of PrusaSilcer for this, it halts the printer and moves the printhead out of the way. I got tired of losing my screw bit for my Kobalt drill/screwgun. I designed a bit holder that attaches where the belt clip mounts to. It holds two 1/4" screw bits. Hex bit and magnetic drill bit holder for Milwaukee M12 drill and Impact driver. Fit into existing belt clip mount using M2.5x6 screw. Drill bit holder has right and left hand version and uses 6x3mm magnets. NOTE: Be careful when adding the magnets and don't be like me and almost super glue magnets together or to me.

Hex bit holder with magnets It uses 8x1mm rare earth magnets to hold bits. Magnets glued with super glue. It holds not too strong, so it not possible to hold upside down. Bits are grouped by 4 for easier access, also you can put here 2 adapters PS, my print failed on 88%, but I decide to use it as is.

Yet another hex bit holder. This is customizable, and I recommend building a small one first (3x3) to test how bits fit. My printer is over extruding a bit so I had to make the clearance rather large for the bits to fit in easily. I was getting errors in OpenSCAD when I tried to build a 20x20 array. I found I had to go to Edit->Preference, select the Advanced tab and increase "Turn off rendering at x elements" by an order of magnitude. (just updated the file. Realized I had...
