I wanted an I-shaped bracket to put behind the silverware divider, because my roommate always slams the silverware drawer shut, which always scoots the silverware holder back. That's what I made this for, but you could resize it and use it for anything else: * Bed leveling (if scaled really small) * X-axis rod leveling (when adjusting Z-axis, but then I'd recommend printing 2 of them at your preferred size) * Making crystal clear to your students that this letter does not exist in the word...

I made a 50 watt (5 X 10 watt) LED workbench light in operation in its 3-D printed case. The lamp is held in place to my metal workbench by 4 - 8mm X 3mm neodymium magnets. The magnets glue into the spaces on the back 2 per brace. Brace measures 50mmX45mmX15mm

This is a "shape maintainer" for the SBA3 brace. This helps to keep it stiff and maintain it's shape while in storage. Of course, it's not intended to be used with "occasional or sporadic" shouldering of the stock... always remove before operating the device!

Here's an ugly pistol brace that looks like a brick house. Use a soldering iron to insert a 3mm "melt in place threaded insert" into the hole in the shaft. Use a set screw of flat head machine screw to hold the brace in your preferred position. I offered the shaft and brace separate in case you want to print the brace in TPU and the shaft in another material. This is a 90 degree 2020 frame support that fits at the top of the ENDER 3, between the X-Z axis columns and top cross member. This is intended to increase the rigidity of the upper frame, primarily from the X forces. Allowed clearance for Z Axis rollers to clear @ 250mm print height. Mounts with M4 bolts, washers and T-Nuts.

This is a folding and telescoping Tailhook style brace to attach to a Picatinny Rail. It is a mashup of the Boolibrace Revision brace, the DDA3V4 brace, and CTRL+Pew Shoulder Thing That Goes Up. The hinge, pin and plug I have not modified. If you have a DDA3V4 lever printed already, you can use that, I didn't do any functional modifications to it. This is a work in progress. I have not printed one yet. You may need to sand the arm to get it to fit. May qualify as "ambitious but...

09.17.21 updated the top brace adapter for the top hole clearance. Z brace for the anycubic i3 mega. Will require drill into the sheet metal. M5 screws, washer, & nuts are needed. Needle nose pliers will help with the bottom nut, due to tight space. This is pretty much the final revision. 1 more designs will be upload but not critical for installation. A digital protractor will help square up the gantry when tightening down the top brace. It's sort of a needed tool to line everything up. I...

This is a much more minimalist take on the rear Z brace. This is an improvement on my previous design listed in the remix section. This brace takes less material, print time, and hardware. In return you get much more stiff and robust brace when compared to my first brace. With this being a minimalist take I have removed the non essentials including even brace feet. This does mean that you have to keep the printer on a level surface as you would without a brace. I have already checked and my...

As most of the cheap-ish 2020 90 deg frame braces I ordered were seriously lacking quality, I just designed my own. This is a stury 90 degree frame brace for Type B and 2020 extrusions. Small footprint of only 25x25mm. It works with most types of screwheads and will accept a washer with d2=10mm. The guide is 5.6mm wide, which will leave some play in the groove. I print this design with supports, no real post processing needed as the connection points disappear in the extrusion groove when...

I remixed MarvinPound Sticky’s Creality CR-10S CR10 frame brace stiffener – no loss of Z height! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2808613 I modified it to have braces in the front and the back. I made them a little more robust since I made the rear braces longer to have clearance for the extruder. I moved the 8mm rod more to the outside to make room for a drag chain (I used this one here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2708420) Also to add more clearance from the frame brace for the...

These are corner braces for the sheet metal joystick housing in a vectrex controller. You may not need them if your joystick housing is a perfect square shape. If it has transformed into a more "parallellogramish" shape, then these braces are for you. The short story behind these parts told in a very long and complicated way: These corner braces came to be out of necessity. I had made joystick arcs in aluminium in a CNC mill. That came to an unsuspected sudden stop as I discovered...

Corner brackets to locate CNC Router to frame base. These were created to position and locate and CNC4Newbie New Carve CNC Router, but should work with any machine that has at least 10mm of clearance between the base and Y-Axis mounting plates. Model will print a left and right brace, so you will need to print 2X to fix all four corner. I printed at 0.2mm extrusion height (>50% fill), but should work at 0.25 or 0.3.

These are braces for the 101Hero printer that don't require glue, just drilling four holes per pylon and 4 M3 bolts/nuts per brace. My local Lowe's sells a 12-pack of M3 bolts and a 12-pack of M3 nuts that would work fine, but I used nylon locking nuts for mine since I move it around a lot and didn't want to re-tighten it all the time. To install, you need to drill holes big enough for M3 bolts in your pylons. Hold the brace on the pylons as high as you can without it being too close to the top...

Fits Tronxy2-Pro printers, use 8mm threaded rod with nuts above and below each brace. Allows for squareing up frame and reducing Z vibration. It does reduce the height availablilty of the printer slightly. Could be redesigned with the Left Hand side brace slightly outside the line of the printer to gain the height back (But I havent done it yet). Feel free to modify. Printing: No support neccesary (when rotated on bed correctly. Print with 3 walls and 50% infill for strength

Neat little corner brace for joining 20x20mm aluminum extrusion. Bolt holes are M5 diameter so you could use M4 bolts as well. Slightly beveled bolt head insets for easier printing. I like to print things like this with 50% or higher infill. It's a small piece so reduce your heat and speed. Printing multiple helps to allow part to cool while printing although you may encounter stringing!

This is a reinforcement for the Y-AXIS Rail of the ENDER 3. This may work on other printers, but this is not tested to fit anything except an ENDER 3. This is intended to stiffen the Y-Axis rail. This part can be added to either end of the Y-Axis Rail alone or used on both front and rear. This bracket should give the ENDER 3 similar Y- Axis stiffness to the Pro Model which uses the 4040 Y Rail instead of the 2040. This is printed in PTEG and originally sliced in CURA 3.6.0. Z brace specifically designed for the CR6 with clearances in mind. Can be used on any aluminum extrusion printer style, mounted in the back or in the front (more common for more angle). Can by used with any round tube by changing the size of the adapter hole. Clamp on force by tightening the screw prevents it from moving. I print with nylon because it's great for functional parts, but it's more difficult to print with larger pieces such as the Brace_top due to warping. But the parts can be...

I'm just upgrading the Tarantula with a few things, some are purchased, other are printed, i made this one to add a front brace, just under the board. Though you may need to slide extruder and board to their top most position, the brace will fit at its bottom and provide better stiffness. Because i modeled with Rhino it came out upwards, just rotate it 90° on Y-Axis and it will be ready to be printed.

**VERSION 2.0 RELEASED WITH CRITICAL IMPROVEMENTS. NOTE LENGTH OF ALUMINUM TUBE HAS CHANGED** **COMPATIBLE WITH DUAL Z MOD** I realize this is one of 10+ nearly identical mods at this point, but I was frustrated with the existing offerings because they required more hardware than I thought was necessary to mount. Hence, I used my favorite mechanism to create an alternative: tapered threads! Some printers may need to print the brackets with support and/or a brim. You need 1x each of the brackets...

A remix of a remix This is made to fit mil spec buffer tubes but the original 5/16 bolt is just too large and loose for my needs, So I added a insert to make the screw size smaller to M6 which is better fitting for the tube and double the length of threads for strength. You will either need to tap the hole for M6 or use a Heat Set insert for it, I sized the hole to allow either to be done easily for your choice. My take on increasing rigidity and flexing on the X axis for both the sells and prusa mendels. After they are printed simply zip-tie them onto the frames and you are good to go. On the Sells Mendel they can be mounted inwards or out, while the Prusa can only be mounted inwards. Enjoy a more sturdy frame.

I designed a two part Z Rod brace for the smooth rods on any QUBD Up printer. It snaps on to the MDF frame of the printer but can also be screwed into the back and front. Two M3 10mm screws are needed to combine the back and front brace together. Make sure to lay the front brace flat in your slic3r before printing it. Its an awkward angle so I let the software figure it out.

I saw a picture of a brace for 20x20 al extrusions, but I couldn't be bothered to go out in the rain and buy screws, so I made a brace that fits into the grooves of the frame. It's a tight fit, but it works without much effort. This works for a 20x20 extrusion profile, and I have them mounted on my CR10S-PRO. Files are availble on TinkerCAD by request.
