In general CreatWare, the 3D slicer software I got with my CreatBot DX, served to my basic 3D printing everyday job, but when I wanted to go on more complex cases without jumping in G-Code scripting, it’s clearly not enough. This is one of my Anycubic Predator PLA Cura profiles. This profile runs at .24 resolution, 40mm/s, 215C/60C->50C and is a configuration that I've gotten some great prints out of. Tweak the layer resolution to increase quality. I commonly use .06, .12, .15 and .24 layer heights/resolution depending on what I'm after. I have and do run this profile at 60mm/s at times but I get the best quality and layer adhesion between 40mm/s and 50mm/s for PLA and PETG.

My Cura 3.6 profile to creating standard 100mm nightlight lithophanes on my (mostly stock) Monoprice Maker Select v2. I made this part as a torture test to test different settings in Cura 4.7. The sharp corners, curves and long distance shows all of the effects of the different Cura/printer settings. The settings I used for this print is the best I have used so far for PETG. To print the outer walls only, I used 0% infill and 0 top/bottom layers.
