This is my edit of MirageC's extruder to fit the Sapphire Pro printer. I only edited the main body, the lever arm and front cover are available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4796562. I printed the main body upright with supports for angles over 45 degrees.

I decided to buy a direct-drive extruder kit for printing flex filament at Ender 3 Pro but decided to do it myself because of the high sales prices and the non-ergonomic structure. The result is the best and most suitable design for ender3 pro. You don't need any other parts and you can enjoy using the direct-drive extruder kit on your printer so that stock parts on rare 3 pro are used. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/8xaLoNsoDuG

Based on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:982921 you can use the same air blow and fan. direct drive mount for X Carriage of prusa i3 rework. with support for servo 9g. if you have a suggestion to increase the X print area. Please, comment! You can edit the .IPT file as well. Now, the 2.0 version I still lose about 19mm of print area of the X in the right side of this mount. Features: -less material -Increase the X-Printing-Area in 6,5 mm -servo now is closer to hotend (increase precision of...

Summary The two pdf files show you my design of a direct extruder including a part cooling fan. One file is a 3D pdf file. With such a file you can manipulate and have a full control over the part tree. Have fun and let me know your opinion. The extruder is driven by a NEMA11 and a reduction gear set "i=3" As you can see, this extruder has a elastic hinge what generates the pressure of the ball bearing against the filament. Loading and unloading the filament with the applicable...

This is the direct extruder ramp for FBG5 last revision 2021. The original version was designed by Dmitry Sorkin and is available here: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-139464 I've just reworked it with some enhancements for low profile stepping motor's cable holder and an additional chain cable channel placement etc..

Summary remixed a bypass bracket for direct drive set up. added a remix of a direct drive mount for the extruder with chain mounts. should accept standard cable chains. The second DD mount is for the dual geared extruder, due to it sitting higher than the stock extruder. you may have to cut the corner of the window for the wires to come out through propperly. let me know how it works. you will need 3 to 4 M4 bolts and nuts to mount the false extruder top to the old stepper mount.

This is a remix for Craig to fit the 11mm gearwheels sold at e.g. banggood (told to be MK8 but I don't think they are). PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS UNTESTED SINCE I DO NOT HAVE SUCH GEARWHEEL YET. Please let me know in case it works. For more information please refer to original design ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1161038 ) P.S.: I added a body that provides a flange for direct mouting. This flange was contributed by CraigBurden.

Hi all, I designed a mount to support my OMG extruder. I was having some difficulty attaching it with the Petsfang and the printermods base with the existing hardware. You'll still need to measure the PTFE tubing correctly. Note: my E3Dv6 doesn't have a thread to screw the OMG extruder into.

This is the adapter for the Direct Drive extruder by Hackbert merged with the axis mount of the Reprap Neo e3d v6 upgrade by Kakadu (already using my modified version). I will soon try this out on my bowden extruder e3d v6 version. I think the Neo is so slow that the bowden extruder might not be needed and the extra weight by a DD extruder is tolerable. Let's see ... This is still in progress. The first version wasn't watertight, please try the 'r2' version.

This is a work-in-progress version of the nimble clone I've been working on for a few months so I figured I'd throw it up on the internet. I'm still playing with the tolerances on the worm screw and gear to make it work better right after printing, but if you decide to try build one, make sure the worm screw can turn easily without catching by smoothing out high spots on the worm screw a small bit at a time. This should, in theory, mount on any Nimble V1 extruder mount. Probably. I designed it...

This is just a remix to add a couple of features. I found the original part a little tough to get the extruder into place because of the stock extruder's cable clips. This makes the part taller and lets you mount the parts higher up with 3 screws, then slowly move them down as you tighten the PTFE connector. This is useful if you change your tubing or ends a lot, but may not be needed otherwise. I also added a place to zip tie the hotend/fans cable bundle. I may adjust that to angle it more to...

As the title says. This mount will support the weight of the motor and hold it on the effector with a single zip tie. At the front, the extruder is connected to my E3D-V6 with a very short piece of Teflon tube. This setup as performed very well. Surprisingly well in fact. I would not print much faster than 100% though as filling short areas does create some vibration. For those with the possibility of swapping effectors, this could be the answer for printing flexible filaments.

Tornilleria necesaria para el montaje: 4xM4x30mm para anclar al carro del eje x 2x M3x30mm para fijar el extrusor tipo mk8 y el motor nema 17 al soporte 2xM3x25mm para cerrar el soporte sobre el...

I really like the simplistic design of the the Tiny Flex Extruder. Sadly it - didn't fit my e3Dv6. I want the extruder to be a unit including the hotend for easy replacement/ exchange - uses only one screw to carry the idler lever which makes it prone to bending - doesn't have adjustable idler pressure and a quick release. This design adds a quick release, adjustable spring pretension and a quick release as well as a clamp for any groove-mount hotend. Use your own clamp to attach the extruder...

I was sick of the original extrude which was chewing the filament. I'm using a 7mm diameter filament pulley (aka MK8 filament pulley). With it, my firmware extruder's feedrate is set at 138 steps/mm (driver setup is 16 microstepping). Extra parts needed: - 7mm diameter filament pulley - 1x 624ZZ bearing - 1x M4x8mm flat head screw - 2x M4 nut I also migrated to 1.75mm filament ( the 3mm one was breaking alone overnight, and also harder to feed ) See it working here: https://youtu.be/QBE8fT5O4Ug...

My second version direct drive extruder, I got the handedness incorrect for my mounting on my first one. This version has a funnel in the arm that you can fit a small sponge or cloth in to clean the filament as it goes in. I also curved the bearing end of the arm slightly to allow it to grip even tighter. If you use nylon filament and a good stiff spring it can drive curtains. Quietly. Upon assembling the original I found that the MK8 gear did not line up properly, so I modified it to adjust 0.65mm so that the filament would follow a smooth path. I also removed some material form the filament guide for a better fit. Files for this were taken from the Github repository commit bc7e28b. I haven't installed this yet since I am also working on a bowden coupler attachment, once done I will be testing this on my delta printer.

This is my Extruder Design for the Cheap Chinese I3 clone i bought from ebay. One of the things i didn't like on it, was the Extruder, where the counterbearing was fixed, so you couldn't adjust the preasure from the bearing to the transportationgear which often caused hopping/skipping on the filament. Since there wasn't enough space for the Extruder Designs i found here on thingiverse or i havent had a suitable spring laying around i simply designed this extruder. It uses the bearing from the...

The OmniaDrop extruder is a compact light weight extruder with an extraordinarily short and constrained filament path that makes it great for flex filament. Making it work with the M2 was fairly easy and I was able to keep the wire management system that is one of the great features of the MakerGear printers. This is a complete extruder system that includes many innovative features. Very few firmware changes are needed.

Great printer, shame about the dribbling. I blamed the long Bowden drive and the slicer. The real issue is the hot end heatsink is far too close to the backplate, poor cooling and heat creep. It can be moved away by 10mm using spacers or M3 brass standoffs (male - threaded end will need trimming). You will need to file the shroud - see picture. I'd gone too far so here is my direct drive design. You need to chop off the cable chain mount (sorry) and use the (excellent) Tronxy "titan"...
