Elevated coaster to allow condensation from a chilled beverage to drip from the glass and not onto your desk/table/etc I had an issue and lost a couple of "spikes" at one point on the print, but it hasn't affected the useability.

After being inspired by warmarine759 and not being too happy about the texture on which the drink rests and how much mess could get stuck into the crevices, I decided to design a version myself. This one can be printed dual color on 1 single color machine. First you print the pathways in gold sparkle (my preference) and leave the print on the bed. Then load another filament color of your choice, load the board and print it over the pathways. make sure the hop height is higher than the pathways...

Made these coasters for my Aunt who is a Kenny Rogers fan. I stuck squares of leather to the backs of mine for decoration (if you put the skin side - not smooth - down, it also grips the surface of the table really well). I plan to stick a clear layer of perspex over the top of each coaster, but my perspex squares haven't arrived yet. When they do, I'll put up a picture of the total finished product.

A friend of mine is a big KTM fan. For this reason I have designed him for Christmas KTM coasters. Because I wanted to have a flat resting surface for the drink, I have decided on a two-part solution without color change. The lower part I have printed in black. For the upper one I took the Prusa orange, which is quite similar to the KTM orange. I glued the logo with two-component glue in. I used PETG for the coasters but PLA should work as well.

This is just a simple coaster. My son likes Hashibira Inosuke from the Demon Slayer Anime so I made him this coaster using a DXF export from a sticker i made for him. . It is 105mm in diameter (about 4-1/8") I believe that due to the fine detail and my use of a larger nozzle size it has a much less smooth top. It is 105mm in diameter (about 4-1/8") I believe that due to the fine detail and my use of a larger nozzle size it has a much less smooth top. If anyone has any different idea as to why it didn't do the top layer in a complete cover pass I am all ears. I am using Simplify3D with a 0.50mm nozzle. You could try printing it face down for a super smooth appearance. My son already has been using it before I took the pictures...

I made a collection of coasters of malevolent corporation logos from my favorite shows and movies. Or at least the ones I that would work in 2 colors on a round disc. Each coaster is 100mm in diameter. Color change is via filament swap. The embossing is 0.6mm so it's 3 layers at 0.2mm or 4 layers at 0.15mm layer heights. Here it is, a drinkcoaster with a wolf image. You can use the last 23 gram (2.97 meter) filament at the end of your spool, to print this model if you want to finish your last filament. I will use this coaster to put down my cup of coffee or bottle of water, cause that's what i drink the most. My print-time on this model was 2hours and 5 minutes. Here it is, a drinkcoaster with the the image of Mario. You can use the last 24 gram (3.04 meter) filament at the end of your spool, to print this model if you want to finish your last filament. I will use this coaster to put down my cup of coffee or bottle of water, cause that's what i drink the most. My print-time on this model was 2 hours and 2 minutes. I decided to go vegan! So i made a usefull drinkcoaster. I have printed this model in multi-color, with a single extruder. It is also possible to print this model with one color!
