This thing turns the single E3Dv6 fan into a double parallel fan system. I used the default screw to fix fans + Flat head M3x16 screws (4x) to fix the stock fan support.

Since in my opinion the e3dv6 hotend is one of the best around, I wanted to use it for my dual extruders printer. I designed the hotend block so that I could use 2 e3dv6 and a standard M6 nozzle. The hotend that I designed allows to receive 2 cartridges and having an important mass, it has no heat variations due to the firmware. It is also possible to make the MIX of the 2 colors. I also removed the original fans from the e3dv6 and mounted a 40x10 fan, so that it guarantees an excellent air...

Summary An alternate design of a snap-fit fan-mount with shared print/extruder cooling. Even if the extruder gets too hot this thing won't melt away and get loose (I had this problem with some designs - they were too weak and had no top-stopping edge). The fan can be mounted using some M3x16 screws. Small nuts can be placed in the holes.

This uses the X-carriage at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:157992 to mount a 40mm fan for cooling the top of the E3D. The carriage needs an additional hole drilled for the wires from the E3D as shown in the main photo. The hotend is clamped from the side. 2 m3 40mm bolts are used which need a few washers at the top to prevent fouling the large gear.. The filament path is larger to accomodate ptfe tubing for the bowden version of the E3D v6. The print cooling fan is printed in 2 parts which...

With this carriage you can use the stock firmware from the Anet A8 and replace your extruder for an E3d V6. I remixed this using Don1337's carriage. All the other parts you can use from : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2193695 If you have questions or ideas to make this Carriage better , please let me know.

This is a remix to adapt the (excellent) E3Dv6 mount to a Geeetech carriage. I have moved screws positions a little bit in order to fit Geeetech X carriage holes, and I've lowered main support a little bit, so extruder nozzle ends up below X carriage plate. I've also made nut holes a little bit smaller, so they fit M3 nuts. UPDATE: First version didn't work that well on my printer, there wasn't space enough in X carriage holes to fix it properly, I have revamped it (v2) to make it work. Now,...

After printing the remixed cooling manifold for the folgertech kossel 2020 rev.b i am bringing back from the dead, I decided i wanted a V6 hotend instead of the the v5-ish thing it came with. Just for consistency and compatibility of parts with my tronxy x5s. Seems simple, right? Just has to be 7mm shorter and have a slightly different clamping area for the top of the heatsink. I also brought the sides in closer to the heatsink so that more of the airflow is forced through the fins. Yeah it was...

Some people like the 3cm fans for the E3Dv6 hotends, I hate this mini fans because in little time they tends to fail or stop or making noises. In a critical component like this, (remember that a failing fan on the E3Dv6 leads you a serious problem) I prefer a secure and silent 5cm blower that lasts ages. There are similar adapter out there, but I designed this to be STRONG. I like strong things. I tried some other designs but I easily broke two of them simply adjusting the screws, so I got mad...

Fan goes very tight inside ( maybe u will need to scrape some plastic whit knife off to get it inside tight, i printed it whit PETG witch is a bit flexible), add super glue just in case fan stays stuck and doesn't...

I've been working on a drop in hot end carriage for my Tronxy P802MA that will allow the use of the E3Dv6 without having to purchase anything else. I made this to help with design in Tinkercad. Hopefully this can help you when designing parts as well. This is modeled after my E3Dv6 CLONE, not an original. I've heard that there may be differences. This has a 6mm neck gap and the total distance between the top (no hose attachment) and the top of the nozzle is 62.45. Here's the link to the...

I created this X carriage for Prusa i3 Rework X-carriage (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:586636). The main goal was simplicity, compactness, sturdiness, support for E3DV6, drag chain, inductive sensor and lighting. All this was achieved however my lighting solution has its flaws as this was an experiment - I modded Prusa fan duct to accomodate led strip if you are going to add it be sure to have the hotend cartridge isolated as it may touch with the led strip and short. Based on the mapaisrual design, I have designed my own mount for the E3D V6 with the possibility of putting 2x 50mm layer fans on it. The fanducts are fitted by the sides and then fastened by a screw, in this way they are easy to install and to design new ones for different types and sizes of blowers. Apart from the printed parts you will need for the clamp and the support: - 2x M5 thread inserts - 2x M5x15 bolts - 2x M3x10 bolts For **EACH** fanduct you will need: - 2x M3 nuts - 2x M3 washers...

I've changed the hotend clamp made by achmed20 to allow the mounting of a BLTouch classic (or clone). I made two versions, the v1 only has a thin mounting plate, so you will have to adjust the height manually using spacers or nuts. The v2 version has a thicker plate that works perfectly for me with the V6 clone hotend and the TLTouch classic clone of the BLTouch sensor.

I used the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2471011 heavy duty E3D mounting bracket (with alot of rebuilding) in fusion to create a compatible version to the parts included here but remove any and all wobble as I found there to be much shifting it also uses nuts instead of the plastic alone for mounting to give better threading. A stand off is used for zip ting your wires to remove stress. Enjoy.

This is a remixed fan duct for the dual bowden extruder made by eMotion-tech. I use their mount, but needed another way of mounting the fans. I don't have the original cooling supplied on the E3Ds. I rely on the 40x40 fans instead, both for hotend and part cooling. This requires you to block the part cooling fan for the first layers, when printing trickier materials, like ABS. If you use this, make sure that you do not heat your hotends, without the fans running. If you do that, you will easily...

I have a Titan Direct Drive and a V6 Hot-end. The Titan is designed to have the V6 mounted directly in direct drive box. the clone V6 has a screw in adapter for the Bowden tube. This trinket takes the place of that. It still needs some refining. SUPER tight. like deform the part trying to get it in tight. (oh the jokes)

Modified the Simonwlchan excellent shroud to fit with tonyyoungblood's e3dv6 spacer. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:958450 Also removed some extra design elements to print a bit faster. Added a picture of the bridge-torture-test_50mm after installing this fan. Probably should lower the temperature a touch more, but it came out pretty damn great. Version 2 Update ============== Please use fan-shroud-v2 with the spacer. After running with the new spacer I built, the previous shroud kept hitting...

I was inspired to design this connector by the connector designed by proper printing.Though it is not similar it is designed to have to same function. I had some 2mm gold plated bullet connectors from some old brushless motors around and I put them to good use. Inside the connector I used epoxy to secure the bullet connector in plave and not moving. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3547740 I used below connector for below design but can be adapted to any similar design....

I always prefer blowers vs fans. They are more reliable, silent and put more air. In this case, where you want to blow a tiny area focused on the nozzle, a little air pressure is needed. When I use fans to this same thing a lot more turbulence are created in the air conduct that creates a great resistance for the air to flow, thus the air flow at the nozzle is poor. With a blower things change a lot, a high air pressure zone is created at the end and air doesnt tend to leave the blower at the...
