This is an"Ear Savers" originally designed by https://www.thingiverse.com/PandaProps To be installing behind the head of surgical masks or FFP2 masks, to remove the strain of the elastics behind the ears which can cause chafing and soreness. This remix adds extra hooks at the ends, so that the elastic straps can be secured to the ear saver.

Ear Saver that doesn't scratch your skin. I print it in TPU on my Ender 3 V2, no supports or rafts or anything. It's symmetrical in all directions and filleted so that it doesn't dig into your skin (which I found to be a problem with most ear saver models already on Thingiverse). It takes ~25 mins to print and 2g of filament, and whatever TPU profile you have should be fine, it's a pretty simple model to print.

Another mask strap I quickly whipped up in Tinkercad. I felt that most designs are a bit too flimsy. They tend to break easily. This one is a bit chunkier, shouldn't just snap. Designed completely from scratch. For added comfort, you should preshape it with a heat gun to fit the back of your neck nicely. Feel free to sell printed versions of this strap, I don't mind.

I found a flexible ear saver, maybe silicone, on the ground at my local gym and thought it was a simple and clean design. I duplicated the design and printed it with TPU. Came out great. I'm sure PLA or PETG would also print just fine with your standard settings. For print settings I used my TPU profile. It's flexible, strong and comfortable. I do suggest printing it horizontal with top/bottom line directions set to [ 45, 90, 135, 90] with .18 mm layer height and 20% infill with 4 layers top...

designed because i didn't like how uncomfortable most ear saver are and when i did find some i liked they didn't have rounded corners so it scratched. designed to be held by 8 mm wide elastic. printed with 0.02 mm nozzle, not sure how well will work with 0.04 mm nozzle. printed with standard pla filament setting and temps with a raft.

This is a remix has spacers that do not allow the mask to lower your ears. You should wear it like in the pic. You should use a brim, the print has small parts that could detatch from the bed mid print.

3 ear saver models, one round for the pony tail, one thin strip with a Taiwan logo and one thicker strip to print with multiple colors(2 layers for the background, 2 layers for the Taiwan and 3 layers for the heart). The 1st layer was using 0.3mm and 0.2mm/layer thereafter.

- This design has a hook on the right side that act like a quick release. I used: 0.3 resolution 60 mm/s (you could even go higher. With 60mm/s it prints one in less than 5 minutes) 190 C° nozzle temperature 60 C° build plate temperature (I print on glass) 1.75 PLA Leave comments and suggestions :)

I took the highly-remixed mask strap and added a Mass Effect N7 logo to it, using different heights to allow for color printing with single-extruder printers. (I had originally planned on just coloring the logo, but when I saw how the original had multiple layers, I tested and saw it looked really nice coloring the strap itself to match. Note: The photos show items I made with a 0.2 mm nozzle instead of the standard 0.4 mm one. It did remove the normal top layer lines and possibly made the logo...

Most of the strap designs too much focussed about easy to printing and universal design. This mask straps are not easy to print but easy to wear which is more common problem subject in my opinion. I both tried printing it with TPU and PLA. PLA has acceptable performance with this design. But results with TPU is more effective; it is stronger and more comfortable with this design.
