The case was designed to fit a small NodeMCU Esp8266 Board. It has some spare space for sensors or cables and has ventilation holes. The Board needs to be inserted upside down, so that the pins are reachable. I glued mine in to ensure extra stability while plugging in the micro USB plug. I have 3 prints in use, two with ds18b20 sensors and one with a 433Mhz transmitter and everything fits perfect.

So i started printing this a while back. I've essentially not soldered prior much to this so i held on to the parts until i had a chance to practice with other things. So i finally got around to figuring this out, slowly i attached one strip at a time, testing along the way until i got all the strips wired up properly. Now came connecting an ESP-8266/NodeMCU, the base of this lamp is very minimalistic so at first, i simply ran the wire out of the base of the lamp into a separate case to house...

I installed ESP8266 based ESP3D module from FYSETC.com on my Tronxy P802MA 3D printer having Melzi 2.0 board with CH340 USB to serial chip. To get the serial out, I soldered some wires on pins 2 & 3 of CH340, as seen in the picture. I used 5v and ground pins from ISP to get necessary 5.0 volts for the ESP8266 board.
