At our house, we launder our cloth face masks/coverings every day to maximize effectiveness and cleanliness. For a family of four, keeping our masks organized has become a challenge. So, I created this stubby, peg-based hanger to hang in our laundry room. Each family member has a peg, and clean masks get stored there. Dirty ones go on another side of the room for laundering. This one uses double-sided foam tape (recesses in the back) to hang. Fusion 360 file included.

I remixed this to simplify the geometry, the original design had some interesting geometry inside the nose curve area. I made a gradual reduction in thickness for comfort and ease of printing. This is just a quick upload to share files. The part that seals against the face and the filter cap are designed to be made of silicone rubber. The molds can be printed and then injected with a two part silicone rubber from smooth-on. These molds are just a quick test of the design. They need better pry slots for opening after the rubber has cured. Smoothing out the molds will also help with opening them to remove the rubber.

I printed these in white and orange any color will do, I did however pop them off my bed, heated my bed up to 70 degrees lay one on a time and did a slight bend around a cup but not too much or on the orange gave a slight white spot where it would break. Works good with my mask.

We've upgraded our DIY face masks to accept metal strips to form better fits around the bridge of your nose. The problem is that I don't like to have them installed when they are in the washer. The veil itself had to be sewn from a double “soft” fabric. Cutting the correct shape from such a fabric makes me a problem. That's why I printed a cutting template. We often walk outside in the rain and end up with wet face masks. This rack can be placed over a vent or in a dryer. This can potentially be used to disinfect masks if higher temperatures are used. (Pro tip: If the PLA melts it is probably a bit too hot.)
