I designed this basket to be laser cut from 3mm ply but I've included the STL file so if you would like to make a different size or use a different thickness of material you can, just put the STL file through [Slicer](https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=8699194120463301363&os=Win64&appLang=en) with your choice of parameters. A simple bowl. You need: 1x 3D print bottom part 18x Wooden sticks (one stick is 1x1cm and in my case 15cm long). Print the bottom part and insert the wooden sticks into the openings. If you print it, please post your Makes. Look at my other things :) Happy Printing ;)

Mesh bowl! Created the solid in SolidWorks, then used nTopology to create a diamond lattice with a ramped thickness, getting thicker towards the top of the bowl. I printed on a Prusa mk3s with .3 mm layer height, 5 perimeters, no supports, and 115% of the speed of the "draft setting" (so pretty fast).

To make smaller basket you need one pack (five braces) of dd_0 and one dd_2 pack. To make bigger one you need one pack of dd_1 and 4 packs (20 braces) of dd_0. This fruitplate is a close relative of my [Fruit Bowl "Sphere"](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1895838) as it shares the same design principle of interlocking pieces. I wanted a pedestal to keep my fruit on, high enough off the tabletop. In short, I created just that; with a semi-organic structure that is. This pedestal is designed to hold fruits such as smaller apples, pears, tangerines, etc. This model can easily be scaled up for larger fruit. Yes I'm aware that the large bananas in the picture make this look rather comical ;)

This basket is based on a kirigami design so it prints completely flat with absolutely no support material needed. What should i say? We're going to a camping trip.. huge tent, many children, little car.. And i considered that a few fruits would be good but where to keep them? That's why i designed this bowl.. it's foldable and has a side length of about 15cm, a height of about 11cm. I don't know if i can print it before our trip, it would take about 10-12 hours with my slow printer..

You want straight walls and the beautiful cube pattern? Turn the axis of rotation by 90° and you're good to go. But you will lose the pattern on the bottom of the vase. Or is it a bowl or a trash can?
