This is a simple 1.5mm tall spacer to help align the output fan duct height for the Hero Me Gen5 duct. This is specifically for the dual 5015 fan duct, but you should be able to use it for others as well. Has a cut out so that the nozzle can touch the build plate. The Hero Me can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4460970 Why? The instructions call for setting the output duct height between 1.4mm and 1.8mm height off of the build plate when the nozzle is touching (ie: 1.4mm to...

I like some fo the improvements of this design but I don't agree with some of the hardware required... I felt like it just required too many additional screws for little benefit. This is like a hybrid of a Gen 4 and a gen 5. I slimed the back wall a bit so it wasn't pushing up against the Heatsink. Fixed all the overhangs so it was much easier and more reliable to print with poor cooling... I mean if you're printing this chances are you need to improve your cooling so it should probably have...

Motivation: I have remixed the parametric HeroMe Gen5 remake for my Ender5 so that I can use a mosquito + BMG (both clones) in a direct drive setup (mounted on SpeedDrive). I removed the unnecessary Y-Offset that the standard HeroMe Base has, which is only needed so that the HeroMe is compatible to gazilliion different printer/hotend combinations. This has two advantages in my opinion: - You regain some lost Y-Axis space (you lose the space with the original HeroMe) - The whole weight is moved...

For some reason known only to the 3D Printer Gods the HeroMe 5 Gantry Adapter, either from the official package or from 11Pump, does not fit my Ender 5 Plus gantry, where the version from 11Pump fit my base Ender 5 just fine. Maybe there's one specifically for the E5+ gantry and I missed it, I don't know. I remixed 11Pump's version. v1.4: moved the Gantry Clip holes to the Left by about 1.5mm, made a recess for the bolt head for the top right pom wheel on the first version. v1.41: additionally,...

** 9 May 2020** - Updated to a new version, this one should be compatible with BTT 2in1 mixer and the 2in1 filament switcher. - Added a modified a couple of base locks/bltouch holder (the new ones from Hero me Gen4 from media man should also work). Fixed a lot of different problems: - The bottom of the heatsink now matches the bottom of the holder - fan ducts were badly placed and resulted in not so great overhand prints; - clearance of the ducts didn't allow adjusting very well - redesigned a...

I love the Hero Me mount for my Ender 3 with E3D V6 hot end, but the BLtouch mount was a little hard to mount without countersunk screws. I also cut down some of the plastic to make it as lightweight as possible without sacrificing strength. X/Y Offsets for this model are identical to the original. Since the original creator of the Hero Me Gen 4 didn't create a part cooling duct for the OEM 4010 fan, I decided to create one myself. I didn't want to use the old gen3 duct for the 4010 fan even though the creator says it's backward compatible. Try to print this part as I shown in the slicer screenshots - 0.16mm layer height - choose supports everywhere, 45deg, LINES support pattern (very important if you decide to use PETG) - put a support blocker near the duct end like in the screenshot -...

Whiy did I remix this? Well, the way the whole thing had to be assembled, meant that I had to mod some stuff on my direct drive plate. It also meant that when I had to fix something with the hotend, I had to take everything apart. So I designed a few rudimentary mounting plates to the Base 4 of the HeroMe suite, and made it a bit shorter, since the wire guide doesn't need to be where it is in the original design. I went through one revision, because I forgot to put a mount for the BL-Touch on...

This is a remix of the 4020 lightweight standard ducts for the Hero Me Gen5. The screw hole for holding the 4020 blower fans on the original HMG5 lightweight ducts did not line up with the holes on the 4020 blowers I purchased. This corrects that issue by enlarging the top of the 'arm' that holds the fan and then repositioning the hole. I have also included the Fusion 360 file (as well as a .step of the revised arm) should people need to adjust the location of the hole further. The workflow in...

The HeroMe G4 basepate needed to be modified to fit the Tronxy X5SA carrier plate. Remixed the long wing to fit with the endstop that is attached to the carrier plate and mixed a bracket to mount the original Tronxy inductive sensor. Mixed from the HeroMe Gen 4 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3182917) and the Petsfang for Tronxy X5SA (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4370569). You will still need to print the fan duct from the HeroMe Gen 4. I used the single 5015 blower part.

After I printed this fan duct, I noticed that the mounting hole on the duct arm did not line up with the mounting hole on the 4020 fan, was 2mm to the side of it. Read someone heated the arm up and bent it over to line up with the fan so I tried it and had issues where the fan would not hold tight enough and would rotate out of its seat. In this remix I closed off the original hole and embedded the spacer into the arm. I also shrunk the hole in the spacer to accommodate an M3 screw without need...

I needed more adjustment to be closer to the bed. I'm not sure that being closer to the bed matters and if so does it matter more then repeatability. If it does not I may go back to the old file that this is remixed from. so I added slots. This way I can set the height and tighten the screws. I used the 4 screw holes on the right. I wanted to mount a Dragon hotend on the CoreXY I was building with the Orbiter extruder above it, neither of which are standard for that design, so I used this base as a foundation to design a platform to mount the Orbiter. Gantry adapter for the Hero Me Gen 5 fan setup. The configurations of the Gen 5 don't seem to support the Ender 3 V2 with a E3D V6 hotend AND a BL touch so I made this adapter plate for my setup. To assemble, inset the nuts in the plate as shown and bolt it to your extruder assembly FIRST and then x-axis gantry plate SECOND. There should be 3 M3 screws to attach the extruder assembly to the adapter plate and 3 M3 screws to hold to the gantry plate. I found that only 2 were needed for the latter...

This is based on 9A gantry adapter with proper holes aroung leveling sensor for ridgid mounting. There is an issue with Bl-touch wing. It hits X endstop housing and doesn't allow homing. That is why a version with mounting holes on adapter is available as well. Offset for that version is X -35, Y 3. It works with one 5015 fan, don't know about others.

Direct drive for red aluminum dual gear extruder. Fits Ender 3 and Ender 3 V2. I had been using the Direct Drivinator with Hero Me 5 before this but found that I was getting a lot of flex when the extruder pushed filament forward. This resulted in blobby prints. This design is totally rigid and produces no blobbies. Added thumb brace so when you press the lever on the extruder you don't have to put pressure on the rest of the print head. Added bracing so that it is much more rigid and you can...

One of my Ender 3s has a different parts cooling fan with a 3mm tab on the corners where the bolts go. This is modified to accomodate. Fan part #PB04010MS4

A Part Selector for the HeroMe Gen5 (thing:4460970) and a selection of accessory parts for it. My 1st part is a Nut Keeper tp prevent those captive nuts falling out. A Simple spacer to allow the Hero Me Gen5 to be used with the "cheap" generic direct drive conversion bracket commonly sold on Amazon & Ebay. Requires 2 x M3x40 screws also see my other parts for the Hero Me Gen5

Based on the design by mediaman. Many people, myself included, like this HeroMe design, but find that the holes to mount the actual duct below are too wide/loose and can't properly secure it on. This is because measuring with a vernier caliper, the diameter of the screws including the threads are 1.9mm and the holes that were made in this design were 2.7mm +- aka way too large. This remix is based on the original design, just with smaller mounting holes, at 1.6mm. This is so that the threads of...

This is for the Hero Me Gen 5 Ender 3 Mount Plate. You will need: 2x M3x10 Screws 2x M3 Nuts If you haven't added the M3 Nuts to the ender 3 mount plate, you will have to take it off and add them. It will only work with one fan since the mount is a bit too close to the print head.

After install Hero Me Gen 5 I would to try to adapt the light weight duct adding a Venturi effect. Be advice, my Fusion 360 level are very basic, so the design could be better. If you want the step file, just ask me and I'll share. I'm sure have somebody the knowledge to improve this design.

Quick, eyeballed remix to fit in the sherpa's motor, since original was blocked by the print. The arm is a bit thin and there's a bit space to make it thicker, but seems to work for me so far, so I'm keeping it like this for now. Rotate on the flat site, so that it doesn't require supports
