Took a few liberties with this, but tried to create two walls of a historic building by the Passaic Falls in Paterson, New Jersey. The reason I did this was to: 1. try to create something architectural in Google SketchUp 2. print wall wall flat and the other wall standing to see what the quality difference is.

This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/dqEjPvcmx9Y For a workshop at the library in Horsens, Denmark the one in the photo is printed with 0.3 in layer hight on a makerbot, but think 0.2 would be better. sclicing is better in Cura

This is a model for the Puente Nuevo de Ronda. It prints in a single piece and with clay it's easy to make it to look like the real one. I used oil paint to add more realism.

Martin Tower is a 21-story, 101.2 m (332 ft) skyscraper at 1170 8th Avenue in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It is the tallest building in the city, and the greater Lehigh Valley, and 8 ft (2.4 m) taller than the PPL Building in Allentown. Martin Tower was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 28, 2010. Started in 1969, the framework of the Tower was completed in a short time, but there were insufficient funds to complete the elaborate building and the skeleton of Martin Tower...

A representation of Chew House (Cliveden) - a focal point in the Battle of Germantown during the American war of Independence. I had to extrapolate the rear of the house from modern photos which show a more recent extension, and I couldn't find any paintings of the rear of the house during the AWI (apart from one artist who clearly either made it up or painted a different house! The photo shows the building in alpha at 0.7 of the size included, which was a bit big for 15mm figures and a tadge...

This is a 3D scale model of the Al-Khazneh temple from the ancient city of Petra in the Kingdom of Jordan. This model comes in two variants: one that includes statues, and one that does not include statues. Both models include a spiral vase design at the top of the temple, which was not made by me and was designed by Thingiverse user Streetfire_Industries. The design can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2421704. Many thanks to Streetfire_Industries for the CC design. The five...

A basic castle model that I made, it is pretty basic in its square shape and is inspired by Bodiam Castle in England. I made a castle with flat faces initially because they were easier, and after that, I went back and made circular towers as they were more realistic. I first made this about six months ago and recently got back into the project and finished it, I am pretty happy with the end result and I would love to hear feedback!

Wentworth Woodhouse is Europe’s largest private residence and, in my opinion, one of the greatest houses the world has ever seen. Brief History: Based just outside of Rotherham, UK, there has been a house on the site for hundreds of years, however, building for the Baroque style western front started in 1723. However, the architectural tastes of political elites soon changed and in 1734, before the western front had been completed, work commenced on the eastern front which was Palladian in...

Heveningham Hall is a large country house located in Suffolk, England. It is one of the largest in the country and is surrounded by well-kept rolling country side. Brief History: The current house was built in 1778 by Sir Robert Taylor, thus making it a rather late style of English Palladianism. The house was commissioned and occupied by Sir Gerard Vanneck who was a dutch merchant. The interiors of the house were completed by notable architect James Wyatt. The house was owned by the Vanneck...

Rochester Castle is one of the best preserved castles in England. Brief History: The castle is located on the banks of the River Medway. There has been a castle on that site since past 1066. However, the current castle was built around the 1086 to 1089 mark. In 1127 the castle was given over to the Archbishops by King Henry the 1st. The castle subsequently changed hands many times until in 1216 when it came directly into royal control. The last time the castle saw military action was in 1381...

You might ask why 8 calendar years later I am still stewarding this design consisting of a mashup of Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, and the London Monument. The answer is that over the years I've had to keep fixing it via various repair tools. On my original upload I had sent thingiverse the collada version. The original author of the source components (MakeALot) had done an STL conversion of that upload. I uploaded an STL version of the model to the page afterwards. After MakeALot did his version...

Cities as a generation of human society have several millennia of their existence. Destinies cities are various and instructive: one has ceased to exist for a long time, others have grown till the huge sizes; one stay in oblivion, other steels world famous. The ancient history the majority cities clearly appears in character their lay-out and a silhouette.
