I have several metal doors around the house that had mini blinds installed on them. When we changed the blinds out, they left unsightly screw holes. If it were a wooden door, I would have puttied the holes and repainted, but since the doors are sheet metal, I decided on a different tactic. I printed these plugs in white to press fit into the screw holes. They have threaded shafts and a flanged top. The threads on the shaft allow for some variable "grab" on the hole and allows you to...

The tie-downs in the seat backs of my Crosstrek were a dog paw concern for me. So... I made a tie down plug for paw protection. It is a tight snap into place so it should stay in place and certainly won't rattle.

I drilled a series of holes and wanted to make them look a little pretty. OpenSCAD and 3D printing to the rescue. I printed several versions and many sizes to get a perfect fit; you'll note the plug has a fatter area to make it stick a little better. Adjust the parameters as you need, of course.

When you need a second thought before plug in the disk-on-key... Three types of USB plugs. Two of them are easy to pull out: one has an "USB" caption on it and the other is with the USB graphical symbol. The last model is called "simplest" and is not meant to be pulled out without tweezers. The captioned version looks nice with 0.2mm resolution. Placed standing on the thinner part. Symbol-ed one is for 0.1mm. Placed standing on the thinner part.

This plug fits holes with a diameter of around 5mm (my holes were a bit sloppy, so the outside of the pins are 5,25 mm and this fits snugly), if you have a shelf with different size holes please feel free to remix or comment and I can resize it. Print 0.2mm layers, 100% infill.

You can edit diameter, lip size, tapering and length using the OpenSCAD or Fusion 360 source files. Since there are two OpenSCAD files in this thing, if you click "open in customizer" you will edit only the first scad model. Download the source files and open them in OpenSCAD application or Fusion 360 to be able to customize and export everything.

This is meant to partially cover a 4-in (diameter) hole in a surface that is 1/2-in thick, while allowing for power cords to pass through. In my case, I built myself a new 3D printing workbench with a 1/2-in thick plywood top and I drilled 4-in holes where I needed power cords to go through. I created these plugs to enhance the look of the surface and prevent splintering around the hole. Based on print settings, sanding (or scaling down slightly) may be required in order for the part to fit. I...

Flat and Round plugs for 1/8" holes. Removed the original buffer for my MMU2S since it was a pain to use. Wanted to plug the holes left over from the screws, mainly for aesthetic reasons. But I'm sure they can be used for other things. Designed for 1/8" holes, but could always be scaled up in your given slicer to fit other sizes. Could be superglued in if you want to permanently plug the holes, but they fit snugly as-is and can easily be removed

This is a threaded plug and matching nut, for closing up a 5/8" hole in the wall of an enclosure or similar. We use these to plug up the hole we pre-drill in remote monitoring enclosures, to accept an optional/future external antenna that will utilize an N-female bulkhead. Although this bolt will plug a 5/8" (U.S. standard) hole, the bolt head (hex) is 22mm (metric) from flat-to-flat, because... I'm lazy and was already working in mm in my drawing. Anyway, we always use adjustable...

This is a simple plug to cover the holes on the Harbor Freight 69054 Workbench. It should also fit the 93454 bench. I'm not sure but I think they are really the same bench. I made these because so much dirt falls down into the drawers of the bench through the holes in the top of the bench. I used this bench for 3d printing and for mounting a atlas metal lathe on them so it doesn't matter that these plugs stick up a little.

What: Press fit (no glue required) flexible hole plugs for 1 inch 25mm holes. Files for material thickness 1.5mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.5 mm, 4 mm as different coolers and sometimes different locations on a cooler have different material thickness. Why: The non-marine coolers I have do not have insulated lids. Insulating the lids should allow the cooler to be kept colder longer. How: I cut one inch holes in the lids and spray foamed the interiors and plugged the holes with these.

The sliding door in my garage has a few holes from a different handle and they really needed to be repaired. The holes are slightly over 10mm in diameter so I made the barrels 10mm to give me a snug fit and to keep the plug nicely aligned in the hole. The caps come in two diameters (15mm and 20mm) in case like me, you need to cover flared holes. Depending on the state of your hole and the potential to foul on the door frame, you may need to use a 15mm cap on one side and a 20mm cap on the...

My puppy chews up the doorstop plug. So, now with the limited options that I have ;) I couldn't think of anything but yet another excuse to design & print out a new plug! I've also attached my FreeCAD project that has a spreadsheet component for users to customize the size of the plugs to suit their specific needs. Note: The notch is needed to allow the air to escape out of the hole as you press-in the plug in place.
