The ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics processors offer the most features and functionality in their class with complete DirectX 11 support and the world’s most advanced graphics, display features and technologies. It supports PCI-Express 2.0 x16, comes with 1GB of DDR3 memory, 1 HDMI port, and 1 DVI port. It's perfect for your HTPC since it comes complete with a low profile mounting bracket. The HD540 is also fanless which is another great reason for using it in an HTPC, you won't add any...

For my new computer setup, I chose the cheap €15 Medion/Digitainer HTPC-Case from Pollin. It's a surprisingly well made case with screw-less drive mount... IF you have the parts, which are not included for a 3.5" Harddrive. After considering mounting the drive under the DVD burner, but beeing unhappy with the 5.25" to 3.5" adapters I could find, I started one myself. I tried to keep it minimalistic (cheap&fast), but I did not finish it (See SketchUP file:...

I wanted under shelf keyboard storage for my HTPC keyboards. I use Logitech K400 keyboards for a couple scattered around the house. After making them I discovered that there were other applications to get keyboards out of the way. So here are four iterations. Keyboard clip K400 -- for Logitech compact keyboard K400 with holes for #6 flathead wood screws for under-shelf mount. Keyboard clip K400-75 -- screw holes moved for attaching to a VESA 75mm mount with 4mm screws. Keyboard clip K520 --...

This is a cooling shroud for an Intel Bay Trail processor. I have an HTPC powered by an ECS BAT-I motherboard with an Intel Pentium J2900 processor, and I was running into intermittent issues where the chip would get too hot and start throttling the speed down. The processor does not have a fan by default, and since it's not a socketed processor the options for aftermarket coolers was limited. It was in a closed cabinet with a 4 bay NAS and a couple other thinks so I know it was primarily due...

Brackets to mount 3.5 hard drives in pci area of a larger case if you have a small (mines mini itx) motherboard. Intended for drives that are usually idle, I'm not sure their is enough airflow if you have 4 very active drives this *should* fit most cases assuming same PCI and motherboard screw hole locations.

A simple base to hold a Dell Wyse 5070 mini computer upright. It's important to have it on end because of the heatsink fin orientations and the lack of a fan. This stand is a snug fit, has a fairly low profile, and doesn't block any air holes.

This is a quick remix of the Screwless and Silent Mini ITX computer case by @AS_Motion_Lab, made to be just a bit wider for either an AIO water cooler or a larger CPU cooler. All parts should fit without much adjustment. Depending on how you decide to close the case, it may feel a bit loose, but I've found no issues. A few side notes. The cardboard was necessary to cover a personal-made logo that may be copyrighted, and thus can't be displayed on the internet. I have not included it in the...

*UPDATE:* v1.01: - Added vent slots - Improved catches - Improved clearance for NIC ethernet cable removal Please let me know your results if you print it! I designed this case to be a mini ITX pfSense router containing a discrete Intel NIC, an SSD and a slim 12cm fan. It's quite neat and very easy to put together - only 2 halves that slide together - the front and the back! Small printer friendly - each half footprint is approx 20cm x 8.6cm and height 11cm for the taller half. Great as a small...

Case for a project. We've used a Raspberry Pi as a device for streaming audio and watching video for some time now but it's just been the Pi, external HDD, keyboard sitting with the various consoles and such in our entertainment center. Time to make it a single unit that wont reboot every time a dog walks by and trips over a cord. Based on GE/Philco/Emerson Art Deco models of the 30's/40's/50's. I haven't actually gotten the screen I intend to use for this project yet so the opening is an...

Small factor, clean design with nice extras thought for a pfsense machine: - 12mm through-hole power button support - picoPSU DC jack support - SATA SSD support - PCI-E 4 nics ethernet support (LOW PROFILE ONLY) - Optimal airflow (top, front and back air grids) - Clearance for low power embedded CPUs like J1900, J3455, j4105, etc.. DVD and Blu-ray "Now Showing" display shelf. One slot for DVD's and a slot for smaller blu-ray. I just paper printed the "Now Showing" text and a photo of some sample favorite movies, laminated them and attached with super glue. I was going to use a 3d printed customization name tag for the now showing text, but the laminated paper printed text looks pretty good Two versions one with raised "Now showing" text. one with no text

Remixed from the already excellent design by vl4dt3p3s, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3995301 My alterations: - Added chamfers to vent slots to reduce required supports. Makes it for uniform looking to me :) - Added M3 sized holes at the bottom of the brass insert slots, in case you have screws that are slightly too long (like me) - Made the tabs for the lid slightly larger - Made the part about the motherboard IO shield slightly thicker - Redid the inlay so that it and the inlay groove in...

This is an enclosure for two 3.5" SATA hard drives that need to be connected through SATA-to-USB adapters. My particular need is to connect to a Raspberry Pi, so I included accommodations for a Pi case. My media server died, and I wanted to replace it with Plex running on a Raspberry Pi, but the dead server is a desktop and uses 3.5" hard drives for media storage (even if it didn't, those are cheap, so that's the route I probably would have chosen anyway). Step1 was an iptv show started by host Mark in November of 2005 with the help of additional hosts Daniel and Danny. The show was maintained under an umbrella, called StepONEpro, along with other shows offered by the same hosts. As the name implies, the show allows for step by step instruction in multiple fields, such as general tech, security, etc. The show almost came to a halt in 2006, but got back on track and has yielded two seasons. The crew purchased an HD camera in 2007, and have hinted...
