I had a little extra space on some 1/8th inch plywood I cutting for another project, and decided to cut a copy of Travis77's puzzle [ http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1008 ] Scaled down for 1/8th inch material thickness, it was just too thin, so I decided to double it up, and added some #4 screw holes to hold it together while I glued the material.

Clock design with fresh modern look. The main clock body and the numbers were laser cut from Plexiglas (aka Acrylic/Perspex). Various colour combinations can be used depending on personal requirements. This is dxf of the worldmap outline. I had lazer outlined it over wood well it turned out really good. I was planning for glow in the dark wall hanging. There is continent wise dxf also that has to be cut and stuck over this base. will be updating the photos of it soon.

A wooden bowl in an egg-shaped design created just before easter 2014. Hence the name. Sorry for giving it a german name, but that is how this object is known. The svg file contains two set of rings. Assembly is done by alternating between the sets. The 2mm holes are meant as an assembly aid. Use toothpicks to align the rings. I used 3mm MDF on this project. I cut it on my Chinese laser cutter. The glue part is a bit messy but once it's stuck down, just wipe it down with a wet cloth.

I wanted a dice tower for rolling large quantities of dice during games. I didn't see one on here, so I made one real quick. I won't have access to a laser cutter for at least another week, so I haven't tested this yet. If you do cut it out let me know how well it does. The case of this power supply was broken, so I designed a new one with a switch. It has 2 holes for mounting and is designed for 3mm acrylic. The pcb of the power supply should be inserted when glueing all parts together like in the second picture.

This wall-mounted truck-shaped holder is for displaying matchbox sized cars. This THING is made from a combination of 3mm and 6mm MDF (Supawood) for a 3D effect. Since my laser only has a 40cm x 30cm cutting surface, I needed to split the base into two separate cuts, but these get joined together with the frame and the side tank, such that the join line is barely visible. The Christmas sleigh was designed such that you do not need any glue to assemble. The reindeer design was designed such that the joints should be tight-fitting. However, you may need a bit of tweaking if your acrylic sheet is not exactly 3mm. Or, you could always use a bit of glue. Have fun building an "army" of reindeer to pull the Christmas sleigh! P.S. That is a decorative Bonsai in mdm cutted in laser.. The bonsai was cut in MDM 3mm and the and the support in MDM 10mm. Then it was painted with acrylic paints.

This was modeled after the Stanford d.School's bleacher box. It's one inch shorter, and 3 inches less in width and depth to get it to fit on one 4x8' sheet of 3/4" plywood (17"x27"x27"). Another change is I only put ovals on three of the four sides so that the box can be set set on its side and sat on comfortably. Finger joints all around. This is a laser cut enclosure for the ice-tube clock. I made the grate of holes so that the clock isn't very bright. At night, if you look straight at it, you can read the time, but it doesn't shine too bright the rest of the time.
