I made a few alterations to the original cube so it can support power adapters and a bolt instead of a led strip I have also added a base so it stands out a little higher and it can support all the wires. This lithophane box has 3mm walls. All you have to do is take your measurements of your printed photo and add 6mm to the height and width of the photo. You can adjust the depth as needed. Should be easy enough to do in any slicer. I used hue due drop lights to light the box. Images i posted have rounded corners. The file itself does not. If need be comment and I will upload it. Enjoy!

I didn't feel like messing with wiring or trying to find the right kind of lights for the lithophane lamp, so I modified the original base to fit a standard battery-operated tealight. There is a small lip for the light to rest on (and which it can be glued to) and then the hole should be large enough for you to access the switch and battery compartment. Hier habe ich einen Lithophane-Ständer erstellt. Gedruckt wurde er für Lithophane mit einer Breite von 200 mm und einer Dicke von 3 mm. Da die äußeren Seiten meines Bildes nicht wirklich gut gedruckt sind, habe ich noch zwei Ränder hinzu gefügt, die seitlich befestigt werden. I designed these Lithophane holders to be wall mountable with key holes for 2 screws, and to hold an LED Tea Candle behind the Lithophanes to make them accent pieces or night lights. They can be wall mounted, or set on tables. There are a few minor variations to most of them, mainly different angles on the curve of the lithophanes and width of the lithophane tracks.

For the Lithophanes you need to use the site http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/. Chose the outer Curve and use the settings as seen in the thingiverse pictures. There is also a picture for the dimensions “Lithophane_dimensions.jpg”. It must be the same ratio as the picture (4096x2734 px). For controlling the LEDs I used a WeMos D1 mini. At this Lithophane's structure everything is screwable. No glue needed. So the Lithophanes can get replaced all the time. The structure is made for panels size 130x130x3mm. I wanted to design a lamp that meant I could just use a bog standard LED strip without soldering or any other difficulties. I had restricted time to design and print so this is by no means well designed or the best solution for routing the LED strip but it works and looks really good. My first experiment with a circular lithophane. The chickenhead's beak actually has single/dual layer thickness for "pseudo"-red! ;-) Can be printed in 2 colors with a carefully placed modifier object cylinder of the right size (turn on "detect thin walls" in Prusa/slic3r so it does a single layer wall in one continuous go!) assigned to the second extruder. This is a lithophane cube, made for 130mm square lithophanes, that sits on and rotates on a base. This is an adapter for a led night light. I used emotionlite brand, however it also works on sunbeam. Once the base is printed I print a curved lithophane off http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ with a maximum dimension of 100mm, 3mm thick with a 3mm border. Please note it is the width that needs to be set to 100mm, this may not work with portrait photos, but I have yet to confirm. Square photos work. The lithophane clips in to the base. this is a lithophane of one of the all time GREAT Washington Redskins, John Riggins #44. in this historic photo, Washington was faced with a 4th and long situation in the late minutes of Super Bowl 17. down 17-13 in the 4th QTR, Riggins took a hand off on a pitch to the left stiff arming the only opponent in his way to the end zone. the rest is history. this is a 200 MM lithophane which i designed a custom LED light box to hold the picture. the lid shows the teams historied Indian head logo....

This is a Lithophane light box. The box has a port for a simple micro usb breakout board to be installed and also a hole for an on and off switch. This is a simple clip to attach to a generic nightlight that you can find in most dollar stores. I made it for attaching a lithophane. I use 3dp.rocks and choose the Outer Curve sized to 100 mm: https://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ Import my nightlight clip into Blender. Then import the lithophane, size it properly and align it with the front edge of the clip. Export the whole thing as an STL.
