This is my first thing and my first item designed with autodesk inventor. I needed to get my FPV miniquads off my desk. This hangar is a simple gravity design. Easy on and easy off. I use this to clip thing on the top of my stack, for example I usually use Betaflight f3/f4 flight controller and on the right side I add my VTX (matex VTX) and on the left side I use this to clip my X4R on the stack. :))

I was having issues printing the over hangs on the arms without support from @Ant0003 model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3244631 so I added some in tinkercad which take less material than slicers would put in there and solved the issue

A Gopro Session protection. Combined with the angled mount, this will slice down any ground attacks. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1322638 The pictures were taken after many crashes and as you can see it does get the job done pretty well. Just slapped this together quick and used zip ties and hot blue to hold components. Flies great. Print at 111.5 percent scale for 8mm motors to fit. Edit: Version 2- Added supports to motor holders to keep them from breaking so easily in the event of a crash.

i found abs>pla, but i guess nylon or polycarbonate is even better. i use tpu for the feed this copter is a blast to fly, flips & rolls very fast, insane yaw rates are possible. frame is tough and can take a hit. I tried with PLA first, but it is heavier and tends to shatter, even though it appears tougher. Print at 100% infill to get maximum toughness. I created a side cover for the ZMR250. It was a tight fit, but works well! There is a small gap between the side cover and the top frame near the FPV camera because of the piece holding the camera. Not much I can do about it. This won't fit if you have a Naze32 with pin headers sticking out the side. Solder the servolead for the receiver directly to the board. If anyone wants pattens or whatever, leave a coment so I can add them. Source is from Inventor 2015 (student edition). Print upside down...

I re-engineered the design a bit to fit my hardware inside without too much re-engineering. My version is a bit heavier, but I've been relatively happy with it. I printed the top+skirt and bottom plates in XT CF-20 and the arms in plain PLA. Works like a charm! I've used long M3 screws hooking directly into the plastic to hold it shut and it worked quite well. Last crash I did break an arm, but in my defense I was going full throttle straight into a tree trunk while inverted.

I didn't like the stock gear, so I made these feet....the standard bolts have enough length so they can be used....the 3mm nylocks will need to be pre-seated with a longer bolt before use.
