This is a remix of the servo bed created by Marten de Groot for robot Inmoov. I changed the servo bed to fit the smaller Tower Pro MG 90S servos. I really liked his idea for using smaller, lighter servos for the fingers and moving the wrist servo into the forearm. I was really concerned about the weight of the forearm with six standard servos installed. I am hoping the decreased weight will make my Inmoov's arm movement faster.

I am building the InMoov Robot and when I tried to install the recommended servos I discovered the Simple Server Bed was not deep enough,. Rather then design a whole new servo bed part I created these spacers to use with the one provided. You can use all small ones but I also included a large one for the spots that have more room. This is four parts melded into one. It will build inside a 200x200 printer. to make the other side use the mirror function of you slicer program. There are differences where the screw holes are and allowance for larger diameter servo adapters. The pics are of the one I've already made. It is assembled with the worm gear and the gear box half. These were modified in Onshape. The rest of my modified model is there as a public document so it can be viewed and copied.

After watching Cyber_One's Fred's Head series i really liked the Neck Plate and Jaw Mechanism design done by Richard tracy https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2335838 but it did not work with Gael's articulated neck, which i already have on my inmoov. The eyes were too close to the face to move freely without rubbing against the back side of the eyeglass piece. This modification will move the eye back about 2mm. This was enough that I was able to install the eye lids with out any problems of interference.

Custom potholder for the InMoov shoulder. IMPORTANT: The angle I used for this part works for my InMoov but MIGHT NOT work for yours due to manufacturing differences. I had problems with the InMoov Bicep Piston chewing up my ribbon cable, so I modified RotGear to include a dedicated channel for the ribbon. I then had to make the Bicep Piston smaller and modify the Bicep Cylinder too. Note: - You may need to file down one of the M3 nut capture port inside rotgear to allow the ribbon to slide around smoothly. A little grease (same used for the ball bearings) doesn't hurt either.

I joined the two lower kinect pieces together and removed the internal pieces to join them into one solid piece. at this point im not sure if i am going to use this piece or my other remix to disassemble the kinect and put it in a separate piece. I want to pay full respect to the original which didnt quiet fit my screens https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3038410 so I remodelled this (hence its not a remix) to suit my screen, I made the rear mounting more free with a bigger recess to accept more screens My plan is to locate the screen with some fixing putty and then fix in place.

I liked this design but it needed a few changes. on initial inspection i found some internal geometry that i removed and then i added the correct holes to be able to screw this piece in like the original two pieces below the Kinect. Additionally i increased the size of the space on where the kinect actually goes to allow more room and to decrease the amount of infill needed and reduce print time. I broke my stand holder when I put the torso in a pipe. So, I redesigned Gael' stand holder and I made it customizable with OpenScad. All units are in mm. I've add a version with use a pipe of 10 mm radius and 40 mm of height.

Bob Huston did a great remix of my neck by adding two side pistons which give some more degree of freedom to the InMoov head. Since I travel a lot with InMoov, I constantly need to dismantle the head to pack the robot in the suitcases. For that reason I redesigned some parts to make it easy to remove the head with only 4 screws. I also added a ring to be glued, this avoids the ball joint to pop out.
