This noise damper is for 3D-Printers. The most vibrations are in X- and Y-Direction. The roller bearing turns these vibrations into very low frequencies. Mich störte es dass noch eine weitere Klemme benötigt wurde und das ganze nur unnötig groß wurde. Somit wurde der Hebel weg verlängert und die Federn müssten stärker sein was zu stärkeren Belastungen auf das Teil führte. Langzeitstabilität wird damit verringert. I designed those for the frame of my Anet A8 to be printed with flexible filament. You can put these underneath every contactpoint to kill the vibrations. This works pretty fine for me and reduces the noise of my printer drastically. I hope it works for you!

I have to say it's decoration!! Be carefull when you shoot it, I haven't tried it so far! What is different to my other silencer? I used the original launch cup with M9x1 tread and a metal wreath from a wine bottle to protect the the PLA from muzzle flash if I am crazy enough to shoot it. If it works? No idea! So it's better if you don't try it and don't risk your health! Print with 100% infill! Layer 0.2

The airflow management of the Geeetech Prusa i3x is a bit special. If you had to design a siren you would have placed blocking and open areas alternately in just the same way is has been done here. The fan blades almost touch the cooling ribs and can’t blow freely but instead compress the air when blocked and release it when there is enough space.
