If you store your airsoft guns without bags, that would be a good idea to cover the muzzle since airsoft barrels are ridiculously sensitive to dust. My active dog usually breaks any myzzle in not more than a week. And it is hard to find appropriate size - usually she can`t open her mouth in any muzzle I could buy. Also some of them have poor ventilation, so dog gets hot too soon. So I decided to make 3d printed model, to make those myself with food safe and very flexible filament. This was an exercise in creating a model of a muzzle break adapter so dimensions are might be off somewhat. If you are 3D-printing it, make sure to have supports but do not make them dense as it will be hard to remove them. On my 1st print (on the photo) I had to use a hot knife to cut out the supports which made it look a bit messy.

Summary INCLUDES FUSION 360 FILE - An unoriginal airsoft flash hider-/compensator-/muzzle brake-type thing. Please educate me on which one it resembles most! It's probably not very realistic, but I think it looks kinda neat anyway. Custom Section Note when printing Remember to rotate the model so the part with the threads is the bottom! I don't know if it will print properly otherwise. Personally, I printed it with PLA, at 100% infill (which is probably unnecessary) with no supports or anything.

Some whippets seem to have a nasty habbit. This goes over the end of the whippet sized basket muzzle with a couple small zip-ties. This holds together better when printed with PETG as PLA is a little too brittle. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2ooNLbbllRK

Fake or dummy suppressor for airsoft or replica use. 6 chambers with 60 degree "baffles". Should print standing up with 1/2-28 threads at the top. No supports should be required. This is a thread protector for Q Plan B compatible muzzle devices. It also works with Rearden, Liberty Machine and other manufacturers of Plan B muzzle devices. I recommend printing this slow with a thinner layer height, 0.12mm worked best for me. The threads will be somewhat snug straight off the printer but break in after installing a couple of times. I made this muzzle brake/compensator for the ruger 22/45, however, this will fit just about any firearm. I left it unthreaded so that you can use a tap. The tap is 1/2-28, you can find one on amazon pretty cheap. I will have the thread on my list so you can do it yourself in cad if you want to. The diameter matches the outside diameter of the barrel, and if I am not mistaken, the ruger 10/22 LITE / bull barrel is the same size if you happen to have that. My take on the Air Arms MPR air stripper, threaded with 1/2" unf. All of my rifles are .177/4.5mm so this is designed for them, but you can alter the calibre to .22 or .25. There is also two 3mm holes for grub screws if required.
