I decided to move my CR-10S extruder motor to the top of the printer because I added a second extruder. The regular NEMA17 mount is too wide so I decided to create one that looks part of the printer. Hardware required: 2x M4 screws 2x M4 T-nuts The stepper requires 4x M3 screws.

This is a Nema17 Stepper Motor Holder. I have attached a short Nema 17 stepper to it. However it should also fit the longer version (length of 48mm). Important note: The slotted holes have a bevelled edge so countersunk screws fit into it. If your screw should be bigger then please drill them bigger with a countersink-drill.

This is a mount for large NEMA17 motors. Tested it on 48mm. This mount is also suitable for wide 9 mm belts and 10 mm pulleys. No supports needed. Mount should be printed with pins upwards. After the printing cut the small membrane to insert the profile screws and the belt. Additionaly, you'll need: 1. 608 bearing x2 2. M8 screw, 45 mm x1 3. M8 nut x1 4. M3 screw, 6 mm x4

#Update I added 2 more cut outs in v2 for the cable ties toward the inside of the printer. I had some collisions with the x-carriage because the cable ties + mount stood out too much. #Description I always liked symmetrical designs, this mount is attached to the top of the z rod bracket and secured with two cable ties. They don't go through the cut outs, they are just guided by them. You only need the other files to use with the .scad if you want to adjust stuff.

I created this because I needed custom sized Nema 17 mount spacers. I have both 3mm and 18mm, but you can easily adjust the size up or down in your favorite slicer, or you can extrude one of any length you want from the design file. Yes I have printed these, and they do work. I don't have pictures of it, because it's a pretty basic part.

This is a 2020/2040/4040 NEMA17 extruder stepper relocation mount with tool bracket for the Ender 3 (I'm sure many other printers). The original design was from https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WqMb3x0XPMiGRHV5DKVvvKulfL3gMx8mphNqqPGDETM/edit But I wanted to be able to add holders to it like: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3566617 I also made one for a PTFE PC4-M6 screw in adaptor version that I will post once I figure out how to bring down the amount of faces as it's too large ATM. An adapter for a nema 17 stepper motor to an actobotics frame. Made it to work with this stepper motor: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9238 The motor will need 4 M3x10mm, the actobotics screws will be 6-32 x 3/8in screws, which are standard computer case screws. Just screw them in to form their own threads.

This is a replacement for the single stepper motor driven Y axis of the Ender 5. This could be used for any system that has a belt travel through the slot of V/T Slot extrusion. This will allow the pulley to be centered on the end of the extrusion. Includes Fusion360 file. When combined with dual endstops (dual sensorless homing via two drivers), Marlin will ensure the gantry is square.

My students and I designed this bracket to slide onto a 3" tack strip that goes around my classroom. We designed it to mate with a NEMA-17 motor mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18019) for use in a Polargraph printer project. I'll also be uploading a "blank" that you can use as a jumping off point for your own projects if you have such a strip.

Summary A simple mount to attach an 18mm inductive sensor (such as LJ18A3-8-Z/BX) to the rear of a NEMA 17 motor. Update: I made a new mount that clamps the sensor instead of using it's huge washers. This is much more compact...http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1392177 Print Settings Notes: It's probably best to print this with the stepper mount on the build plate. (I will rotate future versions in the STL)

Why this upgrade? If you upgrade to an e3d v6 (like me) and want to print higher speed like 80mm/s+, your extruder may start clicking and skipping steps. So an motor upgrade can help you out. It will allow your extruder to push more filament more easily. In my case i used an Nema17 48mm. Because the standard extruderholder isn´t as perfect for the 48mm upgrade, i designed an new holding system which works great in my case, and also stabilizes the weight in the middle of the z axis. This...

This is a wire strain relief snap on bracket for a NEMA 17 stepper motor as used on the MPCNC. There are two designs, one for the X and Y steppers - you'll need four of them, and one for the Z-Axis. They print without support and will snap over the NEMA17 stepper motor with no additional attachment required. I then used zip ties to secure the wires to it.

I needed a simple mount for a NEMA17 to a piece of 2020/2040 extrusion. I wound up with an OpenSCAD design that can configure a few different ways. I needed a 2mm thickness for a Titan extruder, and that's a little wobbly, so I added crude bracing which helps. If you do the right angle, you'll need supports.
