This is a Nema 17 motor mount for 2020 extrusion, hope it helps your build! Under heavy loading it will deflect or bend a bit, use caution on how you stress it! Never broke on mine but i did watch it deflect, which is actually what i wanted it to do(preload sliders against hard stop).

Here’s a design for a 2-stage planetary gearbox with ~ 10:1 reduction. It’s around 40mm tall and fits nicely on top of the Nema17 stepper motor, joined with some (>40mm) M3 bolts. The gearbox works just fine under the load and provides a decent torque, but I haven’t stress-tested the gearbox yet. Remix of Pekcitron's Excellent motor mounts and Z tops. These were modeled to be similar to the Prusa ones where there is allowance for flex. Some printers print smaller and some print larger, this will allow best of both worlds. Due to a request I have added a vslot version of the ztops as well in the file!

Created a Nema 17 mount to use on my extruder on top in my CR10. This can be used with dampers as in the pictures. Updates : 07/01/2018 : - Added 2mm of space on each side to be much loose with dampers. - Added a "beta" version with filament sensor attached, supports must be use to print this one. If the motor is mounted on a 90 ° angle, simple water cooling cannot be mounted on the side. I cut an aluminum plate, printed the cap, and glued it with epoxy glue and completely covered it. Then connect 2 push fittings (6mm shaft) for the water-carrying hoses.

"C" stand for the shape of the extruder. The extruder is a direct extruder model ready for MK8 gear and has on the plate a structure to hold the J-head with 2 screws. Motor used: NEMA 17. It is a sort of "derivation" of the Greg's Wade Extruder, I modified the idler to fit a direct drive, you can use the same bearings, spring and tension screws. The plate is flexible having oval holes to be fixed on the x-carriage.

Simple pattern for producing NEMA 17 motor insulators from sheet materials like Cork. Large diameter is intended to be cut with pointed very sharp exacto knife (be careful!!!!), while 4 small screw clearance holes are meant to be punched using a typical hole punch tool (~3.4mm or 1/8" hole punched). I was in need to create a planetary gears box with 5mm shaft. All the scripts I've found here, were broken someway, so I devided to take a look at the code and fix the problems for the 5mm shaft version. I used a 625ZZ ball bearing. As you can see in other photos I posted, I've used this thing to make a reduction for my Bowden MK8 Extruder, because I recently build a Rostock and it needs a lot of torque while printing fast. It works like a charm ^^.

I printed the bracket with 2 walls, 3 bottom and 4 top layers without any problems. When printing with the orientation on the file you don't need support.

Nema 17 Motor Cycloidal 5:1 Gear Ratio 9mm thick when put together, requires 5x M3 bolts 15+mm and 1x M3 nut. Print on 100% infill and ultra fine resolution (0.1mm or better ideally), supports on. Z motor mount for the Tevo Tarantula. Stronger then the standard Acrylic version and goes along way to remedy the z motor alignment issues from standard. Printed in PLA at 50% and strong enough, but ABS would be even more betterer.

Here another release for the malyan M180 / freesculpt EX2 Day after days, hous after hours of prints the standards stepper motor of the malyan doesn't make the distance... I ve replaced the Y stepper, but with a 40mm one, so it need a new enclosure / Mount. Here it is. By the way, changing the nema motor reduce by 2 the noise of this printer, i'm considering changing all the motor on this printer.... with stronger one !

5mm D Shaft to standard push scooter wheel adapter. Replace the 608 bearings in a scooter wheel with this adapter to use on 5mm shafts such as NEMA 17 steppers for your robotics needs. Similar to the Pololu 2673 adapters but obviously not as strong. Since I currently only print in PLA and the tension of the belt induces torque on the motor mount, the original file was warping. The uneven torque is not good for the motor shaft, as it can damage it, and you'll need to replace the entire motor. I strengthened the part to resist the torque. Further upgrading can be done, but unless I come into further complications, this should suffice. I decided to change my Prusa I3 clone to use only 1 Z-motor, driving the other leadscrew with a belt, so needed to remove the one motor. I designed this dummy motor to fit in its place.
