This is my ongoing kick of Aliens themed objects to use around house and office. This is a great pen and pencil holder, looks cool at my desk, I am sure it can be a plant pot as well. Stationary in arabic gate style. 3mm plywood. Select file ag_v1.lyz or ag_v2.lyz for the front. Remove the middle graphics and run engraving (40W CO2 laser, 32% power) , then restore the middle, remove the pillar graphics and cut (40W CO2 laser 3 times at 45% power). Size 185mm x135mmx50mm. I am a teacher and created this box to keep passes in. It is a little wider than a letter size piece of paper since our passes are simply letter sized paper cut into thirds. It has holes, stand upgright, and has a space for a name. I imprinted my last name. I created this with Blender 2.69 running on Linux. Printing with supports on a Makerbot Replicator 2 at low resolution takes about 6 hours. V1.1 includes some cleanups

This is a light weighted pen cup holder. Please print it with thick wall shell (maybe 3 layers) to make sure the structure is strong. Since I intended to print it without supports but with only bridging, you may likely use quite low temperature and proper printing speed to get the result clean.

A one-part, print-in place, support-free tape dispenser (for 25mm-inner-diameter tape). Most of the designs I found were not really suitable for PLA printing due to the shear stresses on the part. This is a stationary box made to store USB, USB-C, SD, MICRO SD, Chalk, Markers, Coins and anything that can fit, it's pretty big. Supportless, 15 to 25 percent infill is what I recommend. Using a smaller nozzle is preferable as it makes sure the sizes of the ports are exact.

I use this because good mechanical pencils (like ones with retracting pocket safe tips and auto lead rotation clutches) have overly optimistic tiny erasers which are next to useless.
