Remix of the Yet another OpenRC F1 electronics holder that adds channels for the ESC and Servo cables under the holder to make cable managemet a tad more tidier. Removes the "wing" from the original since this was made for the Openrc F1 Tesla Cybertruck in mind. I Used 3m doublesided installation tape to attach it to the chasis. Prints without supports

Disclaimer: I am still working on this and will update the files as I see fit. I am working on updating this post with the most recent iterations of the pulley system. I will add the most recent iterations soon when I finish testing them. I have modified the belt so it is now smaller and more durable when printed from TPU. It is a tight fit but it runs well and it should not strip. I recommend printing spare pinions because the teeth do wear away after heavy use. Print extra belts too. They...

Added clearance in the frame for the pinion and the suspension to move and added wheelwells for clearance in the truckbed. PSA! YOU REALLY NEED THE TRUCKBED, if you dont use it you might damage the wheels/motor/chassis of your car, even with tpu tires the original Bed printed in PLA melted when the TPU tires hit the chassis PSA! Two things to consider 1: weight if you are one of those that have 100% infil frames on their truck, you probably have to reprint the frame and the chassis in 7-15%...

I use this mold for making tires for my RaceRod and my F1 car. Mix 60gr of clear silicon from building supplier with 25gr of corn flour. Put two lids on the rim. Use two small ones for the rear tire and a small and big one for the front tire. Apply the mixture into the mold and on the rim. Take care, that the rim is fully covert and the silicon is pressed into the holes. At last put the rim with the lids into the mold, with the slots in the lids between both halfs of the mold, for better...

Turns out the original Rear Chassis OpenRC F1 (pre 2017 version) is a tiny bit to close to the tire when using Tamiya F104 tires. When you race the car the tires hit the chassis which does harm to the tire and the chassis as well, so I optimized the chassis giving the tires a tiny bit more space.

This is a rear suspension pivot that uses bolts instead of plastic from the original design. It also makes the pivot and spring holder a single component. You'll need some m3 bolts 8mm or longer, as well as a little bushing for each side. I happened to have the correct bushing size so I did not model this... You could get away with using a bit of tape rather than a bushing if needed.

This is an addition to the Differential from tahustvedt found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2361718 To use the differential you need to print a front rim. Unfortunately the rims are in different sizes if you use F104 tires. So I modified an original F104 rear rim to fit to the differential. Simply print one modified rim (download my remix) and one original F104 rear rim. The modified one will be the one on the right side.

A more durable and more crash-resistant OpenRC F1 front wing design, which is compatible with the original nose section. Flexible fixations are absorbing the energy of the impact (on some level) and let the wing moving during a crash. Tested on the field (on an R/C race track) by my kids - with good results. No damage on the front part. (Before the upgrade I have to glue back the front wing pieces many-many times...) There are 3 main components: 1.) Modified front wing (reinforced and modified...

The 3D printed pinion gear for the Open RC F1 was the weak part of the design. Immediately after printing I found that it spun the flat spot in the print. When looking for a new pinion gear it looked like the stock was a 24dp 14T pinion for a 40T spur. I could not easily find a replacement 24dp metal gear on amazon, but it looked like 32dp and 48dp was common for Traxxas RC cars and fit the shaft on the 540 motor spec'd out by Daniel. My solution was to model a 32dp 57T spur gear as a direct...

MMU remix of the Rainlight+diffuser part Like the original part, has to be printed backside laying down. Every dot is a colorable entity so if you like to do something fancy with your multicolor printer / MMU you can go for it :) Should be printed at 0.15 or 0.1 layerheight because of the dots (lower works too but its unnessesary, I printed mine at 0.15). Accidentally ordered a servo motor that was bigger than the one that the stock OpenRC F1 holder is designed for. Instead of ordering more servos, I designed a new holder! Fits my servo perfectly, not sure about all servos of this size though. Use M3x8 countersunk screws coming up from the bottom, directly into the plastic. There wasn't enough room to include captive nuts without putting them above the servo and requiring stupidly long screws that I didn't have.

I had to redesign the rear axle from the motormod for the tractor. You can use the original bearings and gears from the motormod for the tractor. I used this wheels from Amazon: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00AFN6V8W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 After printing you have to cut 2 M3 into every side of the axle to mount the wheels to the axle.

This is a remix of the 2017 wings that Daniel uploaded over on Pinshape. I took his files and made some customization. They match the general design of the 2017 cars. Wider wings and more aggressive sweep. Rear wing: Added some strength at the mounting point Front Wing: Added some strength where mine break, also modified to mount using the design raab6 uploaded. I haven't printed these yet! I'm confident they will work fine- but I haven't had the time/material ready to make them Update 2/26/17:...

Big fan of the OpenRC tractor. I kept burning up gears due to the drive gear sliding off the motor shaft. My fix was to extrude the load gears retaining ring to meet the back of the wheel, keeping it fixed in place. Next I changed to a herringbone gear to help the drive gear stay in its place. It seems to be working for me, I hope this helps someone.
