I saw the Space_Balls_Helmet_Solid_V1 model from Jace1969. I needed a new pen cup, and remixing this model seemed like the best way to go. I tinkered the original model and shrank it down to 60%. Took about 13 hours and still needs a bit of sanding to knock down a couple rough area from the supports, but other than that it's a great model to start with. Apparently this fits a can with koozie perfectly as well... who knew.

My father asked if I could make a cup to hold a single pen or 2. He wanted it weighted and conical. When I whipped this up for him, he said "That's just like the one I had on my drafting table in the 70's!". Bottom of cup is open to take a 51mm OD, 21mm ID, 3mm thick washer. It's probably imperial sized, but I didn't bother measuring.

We'll print out a bolt to support it... might as well. It's a hex nut--OR IS IT? It is, it's just been drilled out to hole up to six pen-like objects. Each holder is ~1/2" so it'll hold fairly fat pens/tools. We're looking forward to painting this one up, we'll post a photo when we do. Good chance to practice the ol' airbrush.

My wife requested a pencil cup that she could put on a window sill. She wanted it to be narrow. I knew that if it was narrow, then it would be easy to tip over. Because the window frame was metal, I could use magnets to hold it in place. I happen to have purchase a small collection of magnets to keep on hand for just this type of request. A Pen/Cup/Organizer created during experimentation with Vase Mode in mind. Can be resized. Attached files are stl and obj saving the cup at a size of approximately 3 1/4 inches (82.55 mm) give or take a mm or two. The eyeholes go through to the cup. I haven't printed this yet, so I don't know how it goes with the supports; I suppose it will depend what angle you set your slicer to put supports to. If anyone prints this before I get a chance to (which might be a while), please let me know.
