I made my mom a wooden bear family back in shop class. She lives a good distance away, but luckily my step dad has a 3D printer too. So I just emailed him a sliced version of this model and he printed it for her to add a new baby bear to our old bear collection. This is great to print in wood PLA. I liked the look of the rough sanding on mine, but my step dad said my mom liked theirs just as it came off the print bed. This was a pretty quick and dirty work with blender, just added some bones to the model, which will allow everyone to make most poses they'd like with it. To pose, you'll need Blender, which is FOSS (free and open source) to open the .blend file. Save for the first wing and leg bones, there shouldn't be a problem moving them around. Also, you'll notice that the head on this one is already somewhat bigger than the source, done with bone scaling, I think it just makes this fella more...

Hi all, I made this model for my son to let him play with a Space Cadet as the stories that I tell him at bed time. In order to build the model you have to print all parts and the 2 joints x 12. as you can see every object has little holes that admit to attach a little magnet of diameter 3 and height 1, this even in the joints so you can improve the duration of the assembled toy.

A quick and mostly working skeleton rig that I added to ndrs's Alduin model. You should be able to pose and scale most parts however you need. If not, you can always extrude new bones. This was all done with Blender, which is Free and Open Source. Use the .blend file within to pose the dragon. Once posed, export it as either a .OBJ or .STL to prepare for your printer! Klicket Kthulhu is another evolution of my set of poseable printable toys. Start with the simple body, and add heads, limbs and a tail to make an eldritch horror or any kind of animal you can imagine. I think Klicket Kthulhu looks good with a split claw for a tail, and clawed feet, boney hands and wings. But you can make whatever you want. Klicket toys are self-standing posable figures, suitable for use in low-budget video comic dramas, or as a desktop mascot. Klicket likes to be useful too....

This is my cute version of the popular articulated octopus. First photo shows the tip that's included. The other photos show a more blunt tip that I decided not to use. The regular version is poseable with tighter joints. There's also a floppy loose version lucy_body and lucy_tentacle. Both versions use the same tip. Does not require supports or infill. I used a raft to make sure it sticks, but not absolutely necessary. If you want yours to look like mine, I used 22 tentacles and 8 tips.

A Leman Russ turret I modified for a friend to be compatible with his existing cannons that have small pins on either side of the cannon base.
