This is a bracket that mounts the power switch of a C64 1084 monitor to the power board mounting plate. A project required an external switch that could not be accidentally switched on or off. A panel mount switch of 1”x 1.25” is used. The project creates a recessed holder the mounts on the back side of a panel. It is held in position by two #6 bolts. The design allows the securing landings to be tapped for appropriate hardware. There is allowance for the use of a #6 or nut. 3mm hardware will also easily fit.

I made a little circuit and needed some adapter/case for the power switch. Size made me choose a 25mm drill and thus the case is made for. The switch brings clips with it so it doesn't fall out. The case can be fastened by good fits or simply glued. It's up to you. On the back you can still reach the electrical contacts. You can see it in the pictures and better ignore my soldering skills. Enjoy and recommend any ideas :-)

My cat likes to sit on the PC and while I've disabled pressing the power button to shut off the PC, it doesn't disable when she stands on it and does a force shutdown. My case is a little unique in that it has a raised button. This is designed to fit just around the button. It has a lip due to the design of the case. Turned out that the lip was a bit too short to sit properly but a little trimming with a wire snip and it fit like a glove. Printed using AnyCubic Vyper.

This can be mounted on a side of a tetrix C channel or plate. The mount is centered and does not allow the switch to hang over the edge. Our FTC team mounted the switch on the back of our robot. This design allows the metal C channel to be the farthest back part of our robot.

This is a modification of the PSU cover by punishedprops https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2479044 for the S360-12 PSU. I wanted the switch swapped over so that the plug was at the rear with the switch in front. I also removed the bottom to save on filament. I recreated a Rhino solid model of a portion of (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1158053) so that I could modify it to my needs. Added pictures of printed switch box. 11/15/2016 - Uploaded new revision, box is deeper to accommodate female spade lugs crimped on the wires. Also, the access for the power cord to the power supply is a slot that the cover fills in to hold the power line.

This design is for remote PC power and reset buttons. The buttons connect via a USB 2 cable to a PCI slot mounted port that can optionally also have power and reset buttons. Note that the remote switch is deliberately kept small so fitting the components is a bit tight, but it's definitely possible! I held my breakout boards in via rivets and glued the lid on. Did a quick remix of the auto off switch for the CR6 se. Used the stock CR6 power switch from the bottom power plug. It's somewhat thin, it may be necessary to remix it. It's adjustable, and is bolted to the hexagonal hole in the bracket instead of having using the V-wheel screw to hold it on. Auto off switch is a nice feature to have, I have it on another printer. I'll upload a picture later.

Short version: Printer finishes, and lowers the hotbed but stays on. Now printer completely shuts off then the hotbed is lowered. =) Long version: So I print a LOT. I don't sacrifice my time by babysitting or staring at the printer. Plus it stinks. I have a webcam to remote monitor the printer so I know if it had a problem such as not feeding filament or the part came off the hotbed, also so that I know if the print finished because the hotbed will be lowered outside of the webcam view. I don't know about you but I seem to have an endless supply of grounded computer power cords laying around from old computers long since gone. This allows you to use them with a switch and fuse connection. There are two small holes on the top and the bottom. They may not be seem as necessary but actually they are.
