(STILL WORKING ON THIS GOING TO TEST OUT DIFFERENT SHAPES OF PADDLES) This is a rim and a sand paddle tire for a 1/10th scale RC car. Uses a standard 12mm hex nut in the rim that is on most common RC cars. The rim I'm printing in ABS and the wheel will be in TPU, I will add pictures when both are finished and printed out.

Instead of sourcing 2 different bearing sizes for the OpenRc f1 project I rebuilt the front rims to use the same size bearings as the rear axle. The bearings on amazon are sold in a pack of ten. I doubt I'll be blowing up bearings that fast. The rim also includes a new front axle, a bushing adapter if you already have the axles printed and a new lock nut.

This tire-press can be used for mounting tires onto RC beadlock-style rims. It is suitable for up to 1.9"-rims and 4.75" tires (if not silly wide). It helps to keep the tire with internal foam compressed, while fitting the outer beadlock components. So even more useful the wider the tire is, compared to the rim. I saw that these were very expensive online so I decided to make my own. They work with rc4wd tires and they just sit in the ridges, no need to screw or glue its just a good fit. Print with supports with the face of the rim pointing up. Uses stock wheel nuts but you will need a longer wrench to fit inside the rim

These wheels are for my "special" trial car. I wanted to have wide car for stability without using huge hexs. There are 2 versions of rims, one with hex on the inside to get maximum width and second with hex in the middle of the wheel. 12mm hex. It depends on you if you want to use 4 same wheel or you can use wide on the rear and narrower in the front. :) There are 2 versions of rings - one simple and second with some lines on it ( i did color change during print and it looks fine )...

Resized wheel and hub to fit the 1/10 Traxxas Summit. Tested at 20% infill. Works great for crawling and street driving. Not sure how well it will hold up to bashing since I don't bash my Summit. Note: The Traxxas splined wheel nut wrench does not fit in the hub. I'm too lazy to adjust the model to fit the tool. I've been using needle nose pliers on the splined wheel nuts. Rims can be printed with any filament. Rim offset changed, so Tires can fit and not rub against the car itself. Therefor track width increased for the whole car. Tires should be printed with a flexible filament, without top and bottom layer, only 1 wall and not too much infill. I'm using Formfutura Flexifil with a shore hardness 45D. this is a remix of Ray's Te37 rims, i made them suitable for MiniZ AWD chassis. you also find some drift tires with 20mm inner diameter. print them in PLA with 100% infill, mount them at your car and than grind them until they have a nice flat surface. that for i stick sandpaper with some tape to a flat surface and hit the throttle. first i take 40 grid sandpaper, than 220 grid, and at last 1000 grid have fun drifting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv-rfwYy4tM&feature=share

A RC-car rim for WPL cars. It has slightly bigger hex size (6mm) so it fits better on the axle, depending on your printer settings it should still be a nice fit. Printed a 5mm hex version and it did not fit! Fits on original WPL tyres. This rim is slightly wider than original.

Designed this 6 spoke tubular wheels for WPL RC models. Fitting is perfect, either is plastic or metal axle (5mm hex) Full print with 100% infil came to about 9g in weight. Must print with supports for best results Easy to paint with any spray can or print with the desired color.

Here's a set of 1/10 scale RC 26mm wide Ford GT-style wheels in 0mm, 3mm and 6mm offsets. These have been designed to minimise the amount of supports needed on the inside, which saves material and makes them much easier to pull off the bed and clean up. The trickiest part is removing the supports from inside the tyre bead. Using a dissolvable support interface layer would make this much easier and produce a nicer finish, but I can't try this yet. I haven't driven these yet as they're on a shelf...

This rim's for wr8 rally off road tire. Tested only with hpi wr8 flux! I'm sure it can fit some other brands and models, but I can't suggest it because I didn't check with any other model. Some more of my designs for RC rims. They use pretty standard dimensions for 2.2 inch RC wheels. The 2wd fronts use 8mm x 3mm ball bearings. The rears and the 4wd fronts use the standard 12mm hex.
