The Dorena crew collected scion from the tops of 200+ foot ponderosa pine trees from this helicopter fitted with a collection device designed by John Wear (3rd from left) and Jerry Barnes for grafting the same day. Graft survival was good. 2018 note from Kim Bates: "The 4th person from the left looks like Ron Myers.
