I redesigned it by layers (slices going up instead of inner part and rings). All parts of the same colour are in the same file At present the total height is 32 mm. It looks fine for playmobil, no? For Scalextric (Scale 1/32) you just apply a 0.7 ratio when printing (I didn't try.. let me now how it goes) Please post your makes Enjoy

My challenge from my friend ths summer was to design a stand that could hold both sorts of controller (digital & analogic see photos). This was my proposition. The one I made is designed for his edge but to be useful to a greater number I designed one to be screwed at the edge of a flat board. if you have a different edge, send a sketch in comments I 'll do a corresponding shape.

Same as the sidewinder chassis, except the rear section is set for an inline motor pod. Edited to add the individual files for the front and middle sections. Delete the original from and middle sections and it's easier to adjust/assemble in Tinkercad.

Some borders for scalextric sports Half straight border R1 half border - 1 per C8202 och 2 per C8201 is needed I printed this with 0,2mm and 10% infill I may add some more in the future but as for now this was what I needed When you start building you need some more so I added som variants of lead-in and lead-ou for both left and right Update 1 Jan 2018 added "R1 half border small", this is a 20 mm smaller border

Paper model can be found for free at : http://www.scalemodelscenery.com/2012/10/ and you can choose there other brand logos I didin't think it would stand steadily just with paper and sticks so I designed that frame on wich the paper is glued on all surfaces. A bit a of trigonometry for the angles doesn't do any harm, does it ? I used wood beam (diam 6) as poles,(length 95mm) I give a STL to be complete but I didn't use it Enjoy Please post your makes

I took the original chassis and split it into three parts: 1) Rear section 2) Mid section 3) Front section I added midline body mounts to the front and rear sections and opened the pod location slightly. I also added holes for front axle adjustability. You will need to open the files in a CAD program (I just use Tinkercad) and set the wheelbase by lengthening or shortening the mid section. Then combine all three sections prior to printing, and you should have a chassis perfect for wider cars....

Drawers to store and transport 1/32 slot cars in a Plano 757 4 drawer tackle box (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E3E130/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Each drawer requires three pieces (left, middle, right). The middle piece is the same for top and bottom drawers. For the very top of the tackle box, print the lower drawer pieces at 91.36% in the y direction (when laying flat) to fit. I took an existing model of the Sunbeam and made a shell, and sized everything down to be close to 1/32. You can use the detail bits, and make a tray interior for a slot car.

Interior plates for DIY slotcars. A basic plate with a dash and the seat tops and the driver. It's made to sit slightly below the height of the sides of the car, so adjust to fit each car.

Shell of the Nissan 300ZX GTP with a sidewinder chassis from my own adjustable wheelbase design. Minor trimming may be needed depending on the print. I print the chassis at 100% for stiffness, and the body at 10%. I updated the shell....should be thinner, better for racing.

The original car looked cool so I reduced it to what I thought was about 1/32 scale. Made the body 1 piece, combined all of the trim parts into a single file, and customized the chassis to take a slot car motor pod and guide flag. Then I printed the chassis, and it was about 1/24 size. So I reduced it to 78% size which looks about right. When my friend reenacted his passion for scalextric (yes! he still has the boxes !) it happens that one of the louspeakers on the roof was missing. Took out the vernier caliper ... and here we go! This is a simple driver station that is large enough to fit 1/32 cars, and most 1/24 cars. They are numbered and the numbers are included so that they can be printed in lane colors. If you have the ability to print multiple colors/materials, just import the corresponding number with the driver station and it should align properly. Or, print the number separately and glue in place. The number is only 3 layers (0.6mm), so does not waste much when doing as a multi-color print with tools such as...

Did you miss out on the black borders for your Scalextric Classic or Sport track that had the flat kerbs (curbs)? Were you not able to procure enough of them for your layout? Or, did you need the R1 outer as a flat kerb, which Scalextric never even produced? If you still have the bump kerbs with the red and white stripes, and are tired of your performance cars getting upset by the transition over that bump, then fret no more! Just print these up and put them in place of the bump curbs (kerbs)....

My 1997 Scalextric Escort Cosworth's wheels were looking a bit tired and wer loose on the axle, so I designed these 8 spoke replacements. The standard slick tyre fits straight on. NOTE: They're a tight fit. Now my Gossie is back on the track!

This is a Track Adapter to allow two different types of Carrera Go Track to connect together. It allows for the wider track to connect to to the narrower track. The only edition you will need is some sticky back copper tape which is readily available on Ebay, alternatively you may be able to use tin foil but would need to find some method of sticking it down. I've designed a pickup truck body for slot car racing. The model has separate files for headlights and a spoiler, so they can be printed in a contrasting color. Both the headlights and spoiler push into specially designed holes in the truck. The spoiler is optional; if not installed there will just be two subtle holes in the truck bed.
