Summary This is a replacement part for a spool holder of a Silvercrest sewing machine. The original part was broken. I printed it using Velleman PET filament at 210 degrees with a 60 degrees celcius heated bed, om a kind of kapton foil sprayed with fresh Aldi strong hairspray. Summary Haven't tried this filtemedia for a moving bed filter but I'm definitely going to. Inside It has lots of protected area for bacteria to grow on. I guess PETG would be a good material. The only thing is, they need to float slightly. media10x10mm.stl has inner diameter 10mm, height 10mm and all wall thicknesses 0,5 mm. media14x10mm.stl has inner diameter 14mm, height 10mm and all wall thicknesses 0,5 mm. These are feet for top mounting spool holder on an AnyCubic Kossel Delta (20x20 Alu). I've printed with PETG, any type of filament could be fine. They can be clamped using the M4 screws included into the AnyCubic bundle (I've 4 more left-over screws). This is designed for Schedule 40 3/4" OD PVC pipe. I found the PVC pipe to be really inconsistent. This holder is designed so that you can print pipe connectors with different diameterst and then glue it together. If anyone makes this and needs additional pipe sizes, let me know.

I used 2.66mm plywood. I buy 4'x8' sheets of it at home depot and cut it into laser-friendly pieces. I believe it is called door skin. It is sized to use a 20mm diameter dowel, but it can accept smaller sizes as well. With my K-40 laser, I shoot it with 50% power at 8mm/sec.

This is my 3rd spool hub design and is much easier for changing spools (design 2 didn't cut the mustard). Simply slide the spool on and off the holder, that's it. It has a slight ridge on either end to stop the spool falling off and a housing on either end for a 608 bearing. This is a simple spool holder. Nothing fancy but it works well. The spool lays on its side on the holder. It is cone shaped so that there is little surface contact between the spool and the holder allowing the spool to be uncoiled without alot of effort.

A lot of the spool stand designs are bigger than the Printrbot Simple Metal bed size which is 6 by 6 by 6 therefore you really cannot print the object in a single bed or you have to break them into several parts but then it loses its original sturdiness. So I have done some research what kind of those spool designs currently are uploaded on the Thingiverse and made some adjustments based on what I have seen so that it is strong yet can be printed in a single bed. The default laser-cut spool holder for the DeltaPrintr didn't fit some of my smaller spools, so I made this one which can accommodate anything with at least a 33mm Diameter hole in the center. It slides in exactly the same way the old one did and uses the circular base plate from the original. I had a little trouble with a few of the tolerances, but I think this model should work. This is a basic foot for 1/2" PVC pipe, to turn it into a cheap, easy to make spool holder. What's awesome about this spool holder is that the length of the upper pipe can be cut to any length, so that you can hold as many spools as your heart desires!
