I noticed some dragging on my Taz 5 spool arm. I didnt like anyone elses ideas I found online. I really like the stock mounting location on the Taz and I like how it pivots a little. So I cut up a taz arm and combined it with the idea "mde091234" had going of using a screw rod. Spool bracket for Printrbot Metal Plus. Hole is sized to fit 3/4" PVC pipe. It mounts onto 2 of the 4 Z axis screws at the top of the frame. added braces to allow the spool holder to be mounted to the 4040 profile on the wanhao Duplicator 9 added 5mm holes to make sure the pieces are held together as they are floating more than originally intended and added 5mm holes to the braces so the holders can be mounted with T-nuts to the 4040 extrusion. Mine was tight enough not to need it but minds and tolerances may wary. Holds 3kg spools nicely:)

This is a unique piece that was made for my BIBO 3D printer. As the original spool holder is not perfect I've designed a somewhat more reliable holder. It is thicker and has a better "end stop"(with a slope) so the spool won't slip from the holder. I was using it for couple of month now and the difference is huge.

This is a three part build to mimic the spool holder that comes with the creator pro. However, the cylinder the spools rest on has been decreased in size so that more spool sizes can be used. Pin and holes for the pin are available to keep the spools on the holder. This is a hook, specifically designed to hang filament spools on the wall using a bar. I printed two of them and hung them on the wall using M4 screws. I needed a filament hanger to hold a full filament spool and hang off the edge of my desk, so I made this thing. In the current design there is a lip (the photo isn't of the design with the lip) to keep the spool from sliding off as the hanger has a tendency to droop a little under the weight of a full filament spool. I have never had a spool fall off of the hanger, but I added the lip as a precaution.

The spool holder that came with my printer broke, so i decided to make a new one that sits on top of the printer, on the top beam where the screen is.
