A precise report is done in unexplored locales of Achanakmar-Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve (AABR), Central India, which has uncovered 442 taxa belonging to 345 genera under 109 families. Although surveys of soft-bottom macrofauna are an important tool in assessing marine pollution, identifying organisms to the species level is time-consuming and therefore costly.
