Before you print! I recommend PLA for this print. Requirements: Acrylic sheets, 32(you can use less) M3 screws longer that 1cm with nuts. Assembly 1 - Once printed position the parts as in the image. 2 - Cut out and from any material a bottom plate and attach it (this is important - it will hold all the parts together) 3 - Place the power supply in its position 4 - Place the mother board in its place and wire it up 5 - You can start attaching the side plates 6 - attach the screen to the...

This is a test printer all parts are provided AS IS and I may never fix errors I find. Update: Added improved pulley parts and made 5mm pulley shaft versions, should be sturdier than the normal 3mm shaft version. This is a printer I designed from the extra parts I have piled up from upgrading my tevo tarantula. It uses: E3D-v6 (or clone) 2020 extrusions(1 x 380mm and 3 x 150mm) MGN12H rails(2 x 400mm and one 300mm) 2 x Idler pulley for 3mm screw Tevo tarantula parts: MKS base Y carriage 200x200...

I wanted to install my Bigtreetech 8 diode TL-Smoothers inside the stock case of my TLM next to the MKS Sbase board. This allows for a perfect fit for X,Y&,Z smoothers in the left side of the case and it seems to offer plenty of cooling with the fan in the stock postion. I originally designed the slide-in smoother carriers in F360 and glued them to the original bracket. I found that it required a little extra clearance vertically from the fan inside the case, so I remixed the original...

This is an offset mount for the Tevo Tarantula, designed to offset the MKS controller to the right and out in front of the X axis motor. My motivation for moving the MKS to the side was so I could attach a decent sized diagonal brace to support the right z axis. Tips if you are a Tarantula owner: To make this fit nicely I took the MKS perspex control box 'case' apart and inserted all the board-support screws from the back. I also remove the split washers from the M4 bolts that originally held...

New product release for TEVO Tarantula. This carriage plate will replace TEVO tarantula stock acrylic carriage. Aluminum Y carriage has several benefits compared to acrylic carriage: Brushed, anodized clear aluminum plate 3mm thick. Fully compatible with TEVO Tarantula. Drop-in replacement. Very stiff completely flat, it will provide very good reference surface for leveling heated bed. Here we have it for sale: https://gulfcoast-robotics.com/PYP6 DXF file is available by request

My Tevo Tornado glas heatbed broke, so I needed a replacement. As the regular glas cutting boards from Amazon fits well (30x40) and spelli93 did the job already with his Clips, this was my solution. My mod is based on the idea of the clips, but I designed it new from scratch. I designed corners that fits perfect on the 30x40x0.5 glas cutting board and holds a 31cmx31cm print surface like a FR4 without any metal clips. I also added a cable relief on one corner for the heated cables. Print...

Mount for Z end stop on Tevo Black Widow printer that allows for manual fine tuning of physical Z-offset. Materials I used: Parts for mounting sensor to sled: - M3x10 screw - M3 washer - M3 nut Parts for adjustment mechanism - M3x25 screw - M3 locknut (The locknut serves to keep the screw from free spinning when the adjustment nut is turned.) - 8mm section of silicone tubing (a spring would work here as well) - M3 washer - M3 thumb screw nut Parts for attaching mount to printer: - M4x8 screw...

Tevo Dual Y Axis Linear Rod, was going to use Linear Rail but decided on Rod as its cheaper & in keeping with the printer’s great prints at a great price mantra, like any toy you can spend & spend $$$, & I wanted to print as much as possible, the "Y" belt has pretension-er, This was Inspired by Dado Hajdarevic Design. All pieces were printed at 0.2mm Layer Height, 50% fill, No support, Although you can use 10% fill for the 5mm belt adjusting nut & drilling Template,...

Version V3.0 is in progress here. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2060650 I designed this to be a template for cutting a 1/8th inch (3mm) aluminum sheet. It could be printed as well . I will create a duct for the single fan model when I have fabricated the carriage. If the cooling is sufficient I mostly not design a duct for the rear. As you can see its not as bulky as it looks, and compared to my current setup with a 70mm fan blocking my view this looks a lot neater. (update 12/17/2016) Added...

The fan duct consists of a left and a right side and are screwed together when mounting the 40 x 40 motor. It is better to print the left side and then right side, you will have to mirror the file to get the right side. Print upside down with the motor side to the table. See Cura attachment. The duct is attached to the hot end mounting bracket, using two existing screws holding the hot end. I turned the hot end so the element and wires are at the back, leaving room for the cables to clear the...

“Z” Axis upgrade for Tevo / Tarantula, I had problem with Z Banding & as it was all at the same points in my prints I designed this “Z” axis Upgrade. The weight of the “X” carriage now sits on a bearing above the standard coupler, There is a washer between the Coupler & the Bearing, The centre of the “Z” rod or plate is around 100mm from the right hand side edge to balance out the weight of the stepper motors. You will need a 1 x 608zz bearing ( 8mmx22mmx7m). Printed at...

I just remixed this, because the parts where 5mm high on the bed, and that leads to my fanduct scraping over it, as the ikea mirror is only 3mm in height. So the new holders are all only 3mm in height (on top of the build plate). Also i included a version without the strain relief bracket, just if you have another strain relief mounted (like i have). Happy printing! All credits go to @XapaPrime!

These mounts are for the x-axis motor and idler pulley mounts for the Tevo Tarantula 3D printer. These can be used in conjunction with the Tarantula's stock z-axis carriages or with custom z-axis carriages that do not incorporate mounts for the x-axis motor and pulleys. There are two versions of the motor mount. One incorporates a lower appendage that can be used as an adjustable trigger for a z-min end stop. This is my best mod yet. It takes the load off the motor coupler, and as a result, a more accurate printer and no need for a second lead screw. It consists of a 608 2Z bearing inserted in to the bearing holder with an 8mm washer between the bearing and the bush. The bush has two M4 grub screws (left over from the build) locking the bush on to the lead screw. How to instal. The lead screw is a bit undersize and the bearing is able to slide up and down quite easily. So part of the lead screw goes...

Dimensions reminiscent of the stock standard Tevo Tarantula y or z axis limit switch mount/bracket. Z axis stock acrylic bracket inexplicably cracked while tightening it back on. (HFF). I have other things in the way preventing the use of some of the other custom stops on Thingiverse (and had a bracket melted back together with a cigarrette lighter to hold up while it printed).

These are various sensor mounts for the my modular x carriage for the Tevo Tarantula. The aluminum parts can be purchased from my site www.fankhauser.me Posting them here so people can remix and customize their own. You still need to go to that design and download the part that directs the air. EDIT(Jan 10 2017): New...

This works with the 20x40 Modular Carriage http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1839201 Note there is a small triangular piece I have also designed to fit the modular carriage to get it in closer to the carriage. Look it up in my things. This design uses a 40mm fan to cool the heat break and the model being printed by splitting the air to both locations. This design was inspired by LPA Fan ducts for...
