Summary This is a tie. It is made from panels. Each panels are connected with flexible connector featuring living hinges/springs. There are 3 hinges with different thickness. Their thickness are: Flexconn rev.0 with 0.03125" thick spring Flexconn rev.1 with 0.03500" thick spring Flexconn rev.2 with 0.03800" thick spring Flexconn rev.3 with 0.04000" thick spring There are actually 4, aren't there?! These Flexconn do break a lot. So print as many as you can for spare parts....

A big thank you to HUYA for the laser design. We tweaked it to work for a 3D printer (with some assembly required afterwards). It is very flexible and not jab-you-in-the-chin-y. Print all parts (I used "Separate Connected Surfaces" in our slicer program to print all parts in a couple batches). Next I looped masking tape on a long board and used a ruler to align all the pieces. Then I hot glued a piece of silver rope/cord down the center. A ribbon or string or whatever you have hooks...

The arms slide onto the hook. When assembled, the arms can rotate, giving easy access to all ties. Disclaimer, this is not my idea. I saw one in a store for like 10 bucks and I thought it was a rip off, so here, print this one for ~$0.84.

This cable tie base is 19mm (3/4") square and just 5mm high, and has been designed to print easily and quickly at 0.2mm layer height and without supports. Remixed overall length to 75% (along with head portion 25% shorter). Added 5 more holes, so effective length is about ~85% of the original. I wanted it smaller for testing purposes. Works very well, even okay with PLA (PLA+ or nylon would be better) You can rescale it up or maybe a little down prior to slicing. Made it a single zip-tie. With one item in the STL file you can copy and place multiples just prior to slicing and choose to have them printed all at once or one at a time. (with Cura)

This is still a work in progress and will be improved in the future when I have more time to work on it. It does however work, and will get you out of a pinch if you lose/need a tie clip on a moments notice. Make sure to make it your own and print in a color to match your outfit. Designed to screw into the trim around a door frame to secure network or speaker cables. Put a screw through the hole and add a wire tie (cable tie)-- done. The wire tie can be replaced without unscrewing anything. There is enough clearance and a slight upward ramp where the wire tie fits through so the tie exits upward. When printed, the holder is about .63" wide x .78" tall. Sketchup file included for modifications.

These are Klöts Evolved. I made the original version and it kept on undoing itself while walking/running/biking. Then I found a remix by tigermcho, and it looked as if his design was slip proof.
