Alright, this is my last tower for a while. After getting some experience with the first 2, I decide to make this one a bit more special. It is made from 2 parts and it has some nice contrast. It has an empty slot in the middle so you can hide your treasures inside. Feel free to put it on stuff around the house, it looks good in any place. Enjoy !

English I printed the tower with PLA. it's relatively big so it's something for people with lots of pens and so if it's too big for you you can just scale it with Blender or your slicer. I designed it with FreeCAD and then edited the net with Blender. Needed a model for the Ice Tower on the Raspberry Pi4.. so whipped this up. Nothing fancy, but it's within 1-2mm of actual, good enough for planning an RPi 4 enclosures with this cooling tower. This is not made for print. It may print ok, but I have never tried as it is now -- this was only to use for sizing purposes.

There are many great test towers out there, for stringing, for temperature, for overhangs, bridging. This is a generic one with increments every 5 mms so its easier to program your slicer. There are many factors which affect stringing and you can play with each individually with this. This allows you to isolate a function and test it over 7 different increments. I'm back with my latest contribution to thingiverse. I have searched and didn't find any really awesome designs so I decided to have a go at it. I didn't even know such a thing existed until I stumbled across this while doing a print for my sister. I was using a MakerGeeks transitional spool and I needed a good sized print to get to the inner color on the spool and decided I would use this print. Its a super awesome print, no supports needed - but I found the dice had a difficult time staying within the walls of the courtyard. I doubled the height of the courtyard wall and it helps keep the dice contained just a little better, trade off...

A round dice tower with a spiral staircase. Tower printed as a single piece, the tray will snap on to the bottom of the tower. Tower is 105mm in diameter at the widest point, and 125mm tall. The tray is about 135mm x 90mm and 16mm tall.

I like some of the remixes that omit the bottle, replacing it with an open lattice, but (a) I wanted one that could be printed with no supports and (b) I wanted the lattice to look more like a wrought-iron structure. I firstly had printed the "Another Dice Tower Shell (bottle substitute) by Malolo" then I started to print the other pieces from "Another dice tower by Lau85 " , then I found out that the shell had to be printed scalled to 96.71%, and to print another one would take another day. So I created this file, which is a intersection of a cilinder and the other shell, making it only 2 wall lines thick, and more translucid . It took me 4:40 hours to print it.

The Eiffel tower by CheeseJam is great to print since I couldn't print the tower using the origianal version when I scaled down to 100mm height. This version has scaled up details so that I hoped to print, but there is mesh imperfections around bottom arches. So I imported the solidworks file and resave to STL file.
