This is a set of hangers and supports for a HO scale train set to hang from a ceiling. This project is designed for HO scale train tracks using 1/4" plywood underneath as a base. This is a simple 100mm train tunnel for wooden trains. Fits all Thomas the Train cars and other brands. 54.5mm of clearance in the tunnel. I have included a windowed and non-windowed version. This can easily be edited in Tinkercad to add windows of other shapes and sizes. Print female end down, male end up.

In makerware, you can rotate the top engine part if you wish to have the connectors switched. I have made this and it turned out well. If you move the item, please note that there are 2 pieces. MobyDisk's OpenSCAD train track library SE has some AMAZING parts, but I wasn't a fan of the bridge, because you'd still require a block to support the track spanning the bridge. I took the bridge ramps into TinkerCAD and added a rudimentary lip to support a wooden M-M straight piece. It holds the straight piece very securely!

This is a working maglev train. My daughter and I developed it for a 2nd grade science fair. She got first place :) We used 1\2 by 1\4 by 3/8 Neodymium Magnets. The magnets slide into the car and the track via a channel and then lock in with the included tab at the end. Summary This is a generator to create custom length lego train tracks. It is designed with a lot of compromise to make it printable with PLA on a budget printer. They snap fairly well to original LEGO rail track, but not as well to other printed parts. Prints well with PLA and also fairly well with PETG.
