We're big fans of sustainability and we reuse plastic bags we get at the pool and grocery stores. We use them in smaller trash bins around the house. The problem with these is that they don't stay on the trash can and slide right into it when you attempt a 3 point throw. To remedy this I designed a simple round holder that goes on top of the trash can. I made it parametric so that you can just measure your cylindrical trash can and print one yourself! This is a classy full trash can liner that has a lip on the top so you can use a rubber band around the top to keep the bag in place. I printed it so I can keep my nice stone trash can clean and classy looking. This can also act as a trash can itself. I printed it with a 1mm nozzle in PETG and a 0.5mm layer height and two perimeter walls. This gives it a wall thickness of 2.4mm, so it is pretty darn strong. I printed it with 5 bottom layers for a thickness of 2.5mm and 0 top layers with 0%...

Upgraded my other trash bag holder to a larger version, which will accommodate the wider boxes for different brands. Mounted to the cabinet back using 3M Command strips, but there are screw holes included, if you prefer.

As my first attempt of fixing my garbage bin (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:794901) resulted in "the bin's cover gone in the truck" I designed a new fix using 3 printed hinges, 1/2 plywood 1/2 pex pipe Some screws. This desing had been tested before it's been posted.

This is a trash can I made. The lid joint can be directly printed, and is designed to pop into the divots in the main bin. The axle should be printed in two parts (part1 and part2) and glued together after being fit into the hole in the bin. STL's attached are in mm, but of course you can scale up/down to meet your needs. Make sure to like and post a make!

Holder for 2 liter plastic bags. Bag is attached with a wedge. The hands / whiskers keep the bag open. I used sticker instead of screws to mount it. In the design screw holes are slightly bigger and lower than in the images I took. When printing the whiskers / hands I tilted the print slightly to minimize support material usage.

This is an easy made trash bin. I wanted to make trash bins for my filament for reclycling purposes but its also great for a normal trash bin. They are strong enough to hold a load with minimal infill and material. That is why I made the top thinner than the bottom. Soon I will put optional upgrades for stacking purposes or a wall holder.

Other remixes of YoungBuck's nifty hooks have changed the length for thicker seats, others have reversed the direction of the clip to face outwards (easier to load bags). This remix does both. Waste bin for bathroom cabinet door, 18x18cm high/wide, 5.5cm in depth. With hanger so you can empty or clean in dish washer - if printed in a material with appropriate heat resistance. Printed it in ColorFabb nGen which is stable until 80 degrees. Stick holder to door with Tesa Power Strips and you can remove any time. The pin for the hinge is not printable.
