It works well. I make this design for Joyetech eGo AIO D22, At the bottom of the container fits the device and holding 3cm, So that the device is nicely placed. It's easy to be placed on the upper part of the open-mouthed.

I made this holder so that I didn't have to hold my Itaste VV4 in my lap during long drives . I printed this in ABS so I could use an acetone glue to mate the two parts together. Since my e-cig is pretty tall I had to blue the clip higher up so that it didn't tip on hard braking. the square hole in the bottom is so you can charge it while driving. Holder design for my Renault Thalia (Clio II). You can design your own vent mount part for your car and screw it to the holder. Glue together pieces 1 and 2 and pieces 3 and 4. I use screws to join phone holder and vent mount part. I use small pieces of foam tape as soft pad. That way phone doesn't move in holder.

This phone holder has space for phone with case (or without) of 11.3 mm thick and 76.2 mm width, I use it with my Samsung Galaxy S7 with this case: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2815056 And it fits perfect. There are 0 and 15 degrees angled versions, both for Left-Hand Drive & Right-Hand Drive cars. Bracket was made based on this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:576937 Created in Blender.
