Purpose 


To note those acquisitions and disposals in excess of £100,000 which have completed 
in the 6 month period between 1 October 2020 and 31 March 2021. 


Background and Context 


In accordance with the agreed reporting mechanism for transactions for acquisitions 
and disposals of land and/or buildings for a consideration in excess of £100,000, set 
out below for information is a schedule of such relevant transactions.

During the reporting period there have were no other acquisitions at less than 
£100,000 per transaction and 5 other disposals with a total value of £71,630.

Impact Assessment 


The six monthly Acquisitions and Disposals of Land and/or Buildings report has been 
considered against the five ways of working (long term, prevention, integration, 
collaboration, involvement) in the Well-being of Future Generations sustainable 
development principle. 


Many of the disposals contribute to the ‘prosperous’ national well-being goal and 
support the sustainable development of local businesses. 


The six monthly Acquisitions and Disposals of Land and/or Buildings report is unlikely 


to impact on any of the protected characteristics group as defined within the Equality 
Act 2010. 


Finally, the six monthly Acquisitions and Disposals of Land and/or Buildings report is 
unlikely to impact on the Council’s obligations under the Welsh Language Standard 
Regulations 2015. 

RECOMMENDATION: 

That the schedule of information for the latest relevant reporting period be noted. 


REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: 


To comply with the requirement that six-monthly updating reports on transactions 
relating to land be submitted to Cabinet.
